"Oh, you can't hear me cry
See my dreams all die
From where you're standing
On your own
It's so quiet here and I feel so cold
This house no longer
Feels like home"

A beeping noise filled Clara's ears as she slowly opened her eyes and was blinded by a light. She shut them once more before opening them again, slowly getting used to the light. She felt what was around her and noticed she was on a bed, a very soft bed. She looked around and all she could see was white.

Her eyes quickly flickered to the door that opened, a lady in white smiling to her as she walked in. "Oh, good. You're awake." The lady said and Clara looked at her nervously.

"You've been out for quite some time.  A month and a half."  She said as she checked her vitals.  Clara didn't say anything, she was trying to process everything.

"What?"  Clara's voice came out scratchy.

"Oh.  All your answers will be answered shortly.  Right now, let's get you out of bed and in the shower."  The woman continued that creepy grin on her face as she helped Clara out of bed.

Thoughts were racing through her head at each step she took and when she was under the hot water in the shower they continued to race.  That's when she finally got a good look at herself.  She turned her right arm over slightly and pulled at her skin, noticing the long rigid marks that were scarred in her skin.

She then wiped the fogged up mirror in the shower and immediately flew her hand to her mouth before slowly removing it.  Three longed rigid lines ran just right below her right eye, down her face, passed her neck, all the way down, just above her breast.

It didn't stop there.  Clara remembered the pain she felt...on her back.  Clara quickly started to turn the mirror in the shower, knocking down bottles of body soap and shampoo.

"You alright?"  The lady asked, as she waited outside the shower.

"I'm fine."  Clara croaked, moving her wet hair away as she turned her head, looking at the scaring on her back. A few tears fell from her eyes as she stared at the water flowing from the drain near her feet. It felt like her brain was glitching, she was trying to process what exactly was going on.

"Clara."

A man's voice echoed in her ears.

"Clara." Again.

"Clara." And again.

Clara blinked a few times before she looked up. She was sitting in some sort of room, her hair still damped from the shower she took earlier as she looked at the man sitting on the other side of the table.

"I'm sure you have plenty of questions to ask. So, I'm going to give you some answers now." The man told her calmly, smiling to her.

"One. You're completely safe. No one can hurt you. Two, you've been in a coma for a month and a half." He said and she just stared at him before parting her lips.
