Demons

Demons.

Like a shadow, they're constantly there.

"They're laughing at you," "They don't really care."

Always there, bringing despair.

They bring unwanted thoughts.

Dangerous ones.

They bring all the pain.

They replace the good things, the happy memories.

They create new scenarios.

"They were laughing AT you. Not WITH you."

"They just felt bad."

"Why else would they look at you like that?"

They take away the happiness, the love.

They'd much rather make you feel like they do.

They've never felt love, or happiness.

They just want to feel it.

They don't really mean harm, that's just their release.

I'm not mad at them.

I know how they feel.

They just don't want to be alone again.

They don't want to feel like that again.

I understand that, even if I shouldn't.
