The Mask I Wear

The mask I wear.

The Mask I Wear,

Conceals the things I can't bear,

Should I make a confession

Of my severe depression.

I wear my mask every day

And everyone believes I am ok.

The real me hides behind a smile

It's been like this for awhile

The Mask I Wear,

Conceals a tear,

A tear in my heart,

That weighs more than a cart,

Everyone believes they know who I am,

If they knew who I actually am,

What would they think of me?

The Mask I Wear

Conceals the things I can't bear.

The Mask I Wear,

Conceals a tear.
