The girl left the older woman lying on the floor as she herself walked out, not bothering to put shoes on her feet. She trudged on evidently terrified, her eyes scanning each floor she passed until she reached the bottom floor. She heard men laughing downstairs, their boot-clad feet stomping heavily on the floor. She was careful with her own steps as she approached, not thinking about the latter consequences she may face by doing so. She approached the entrance, the shuffling noise, growing louder as she peeked inside.

The room was barely lit, only illuminated by the street lamps, strips of light seeping through the curtains. The little girl looked inside to see two men hunched over a cabinet, one of them shoving figurines and frames into the sack that the other held. She tried to look around the room once again, searching for her Mother and Father. She squints and her forehead scrunched as she began getting more and more frustrated by the minute. Her gaze returned to the two men watching them as they proceeded their scavenging on the next cabinet, she looked at their feet just as a car passed by flashing the room with a brighter light, just enough for her to notice the bodies that lay there.

She let out a gasp, one that she tried to muffle with her own hands as she saw the bodies of her parents lying motionless on the carpet, in a pool of what could only be their own blood. She stumbled backward, her back bumping into something hard.  And before she could turn around to see what it was she was picked up and shoved into a chair, now facing the two men inside. "Look what we have here..." the man holding the sack said creepily, the one who had picked her up, held her hands behind the chair looking around the room for something to tie her with.

The robbers walked towards her, making the girl cower, eyes still trained on her parents' bodies. Tears pricked her eyes, as she watched them, sadness exploding in her heart. Her grieving state was interrupted as one of the men grabbed her face, forcing her to look at him. He had blue eyes behind the ski masks they wore, both of which sent a chill through Ellie's spine, goosebumps appeared up her arm, a result of the fear and anger that mixed in her veins. "Awww, mommy and daddy are asleep little girl." He said with a sickly sweet voice one of his fingers gliding on her cheek. "Pretty little thing aren't ya? Ohhhhh, you'd sell well doll. Many men would want to be your daddy." His tone went lower, ending in a slight whisper in her ear. She struggled more, trying to get out of their hold. Her attempts were futile making the men laugh at her frustration.

"You're a fighter... must have got it from your parents huh. They gave up a fight you know... but alas, it took but a bullet to kill them. Just one. Easy peasy." The mocking tone made the girl mad. All she could see at that point was red. Pure fury coursed through her as her mind blacked out zeroing in on the man who continued to test her. Her eyes looked straight at him, her green orbs glued on him until he fell to the ground screaming in agony, feeling as if his heart was being squeezed hard, his limbs felt like they were on fire, hot blue flames beneath his skin that scalded every piece of his being. His brain began to turn to mush, his mind completely invaded by the young girl. The other men were beyond shocked as they watched their friend scream holding onto his head. Within the flurry of events, the two robbers forgot about the girl, walking towards the man on the floor, concern, and fear etched on their faces. Slowly they held him up, facing him towards them, both jumping back from the horrific sight.

"Fuck!" "Holy shit!" They exclaimed looking at the man's face, a look of agony drawn on his face, an expression that will be there forever. His eye sockets were wide open and empty, blood everywhere as if his eyes had exploded. The pair felt their breath hitch at the haunting scene, both of them snapping out of the trance turning around to see the girl now leaning over the bodies, her arms, and her dress now bloody as she hugged them whispering things to herself.

Ellie didn't care that she killed the man, torturing his body through his mind, liquifying it. All she had in her mind now was trying to save her parents, she tried connecting to them, calling out to their minds, feeling more and more hopeless as she failed. Her arms, hands, and clothes now soaking in the crimson liquid. She wept, letting out sobs her mind not coming to terms that they were gone. The anger bubbled up again as she heard a pair of guns being cocked behind her. "What the fuck are you kid?" "Was that you?" They asked at the same time, their guns pointing at her, the girl chuckled as she saw their hands shaking, tears threatening to spill from their eyes.

"Your friend said it was easy peasy for you to have killed my parents..." She snarled her eyes glaring at them "So I showed him how easily and how horribly I could kill you!" Focusing again, the men dropped to the ground the same way the other did just a minute before. The girl was numb, wanting revenge more than ever. Her level-headed demeanor out the window as she savored the sound of their screams stopping when she felt the connection snap, her own knees falling to the floor in exhaustion. Ellie felt a great weight fall on her chest a sob ripping through her as she crawled back over to her parents hugging them. Her crying was drowned by the police sirens that approached, the police not at all prepared for what they were about to see.

The blaring sirens woke up the entire street. Sir Reginald felt his heart drop to his stomach as he peered out his window to see that the mania came from the manor across from his. He snatched his coat from the rack placing it on as he walked the halls, passing his children that had woken up from the noise. Pogo was already at the front door, his face dejected as he looked at his master. "What happened Pogo?" He asked the chimp in his usual cold voice. The butler only looked down, before meeting his eyes seeing the children behind him with concerned faces.

"There were gunshots and screams sir..."

It was all Reginald let him say as he looked back at his children, Grace standing a couple steps in front of them "Not one of you will come out. Understood?" The children nodded, their minds drifting to Wulfric, Elizabeth, and most especially Ellie, wondering what could have possibly happened. Reginald walked out to the scene, some people stood around watching through their windows. Policemen and women in their uniforms patrolled the area. His weary eyes trained on the tunnel, his head perking up as he saw a paramedic carrying a young girl caked in blood, her head down as they placed her on the stretcher. He walked towards the girl, strides confident, knowing that he will be recognized. He ended up in front of the paramedic that attended to the little girl. He coughed lightly catching the attention of the responder and the girl.

"Sir Reginald..."
