The trio walked out of the building, two of them, the teenagers to be more specific we're dejected from the information they had just received. Their feet landed on the steps Five sighing out audibly. "Well, this isn't good." "I was good though right?" Klaus began, walking next to him. " I was pretty good though, right? 'yeah what about my consent, bitch?" a chuckle followed his imitation of his previous actions. The conversation between the brothers had them too occupied, not noticing how the girl they were with walked away from them.

"Klaus, it doesn't matter" Five sneered making the man stop mid-laugh.

"What? What is so important about this eye anyway?"

"There is someone out there who's going to lose an eye in the next seven days. They're gonna bring about the end of life in this earth as we know it." Klaus not really interested in the bitter boy's endeavors already planning on changing the topic.

"Yeah, can I get that 20 bucks now, or what?"

"Your twenty bucks?" He spit out exasperated, looking up to Klaus who tried to appear as innocent as he could. "the apocalypse is coming and all you can think about is getting high?"

"Well, I'm also quite hungry. Tummy's a-rumblin'" The man finished, making a groaning noise as he did so. Despite his pathetic attempts, Five was still unimpressed, going to sit on the steps in front of the building, his eyes going to Ellie who was now kneeling by the sidewalk helping a random kid that had a cut on his knee, must have been the reason why she went there in the first place. Klaus saw the incident too, both of the Hargreeves smiling as they saw the girl's golden heart make an appearance. The older looking of them still went ahead to address his brother's apparent anger management issues. "You need to lighten up, old man." He begun looking back at the boy, then sitting beside him and continued talking.

"Hey, you know, I just now realized why you're so uptight. You must be horny as hell! Stuck alone with Ellie for all those years, must have given you blue balls beyond belief. That's gotta screw with your head." Five quieted, his mind thinking deeply then drifting towards Ellie who was now laughing beside the child she helped, the cut completely healed thanks to her powers. He smiled, looking down to his ring "I wasn't alone like that Klaus, I was with her for more than thirty years. For God's sake I brought her here with me. I guess, we just forgot to tell you all." Klaus looked to his brother as the boy spoke, he noticed how his gaze was fixated solely on the girl with flowers on her hair, and that he was playing with a ring, that Klaus had just noticed. Took him a few seconds before he pieced the two and two together.

"Wait what? You mean Ellie? Innocent little Ellie? She let you-- wha--. Pray tell." Klaus urged still not really believing what he was hearing.

"There was always something there, even before we got stuck in the apocalypse. We we're just way discrete about it compared to Allison and Luther. We got married much later when we had the chance, it's only been three years now." Ellie walked back to the pair, sitting next to Five not really hearing what they we're talking about. Her attention focusing on Klaus who looked at her confusedly.

"Pixie! When were you gonna tell me that you've been Eleanor Hargreeves all this time?!" Klaus scolded the young girl, who just looked baffled at his accusation. Her gaze then turning to her husband questioningly, the latter mentioned only giving her a sly smile. "Legally, I suppose. But I still answer to Hayes. Plus I just assumed that everyone would know, I mean we were kinda together before we left, then stuck in the dooming apocalypse for forty years, together. I mean, no brainer."

Her explanation was ignored but was instead met with an embrace, the smell of smoke invading her senses. "You're my sister now! Oh my god! Wait 'til I tell the others! We need to celebrate!" Klaus finally releasing the girl looked to the girl before staring at nothing, but still continuing his rambling. "I'm never gonna let Diego live this down. More than thirty years. Damn. The longest I was with someone was--" Ellie didn't get to listen to the continuation of the story because she had just been teleported into a cab. Their sudden appearance startling the driver. "Don't stop. Keep driving." Five spoke for the both of them just as they passed Klaus who already had his eye on them yelling something inaudible from where they were.

"You really are a mean old man, Five Hargreeves. Klaus was just a little excited..."

"I know I am love, you tell me whenever you have the chance. But right now, we need to pick up an old friend."

It was already nightfall when the teenagers arrived in front of Gimbel Brothers. The store was closed and free of any customers and workers alike. They looked around for a bit before Five gingerly took Ellie's hand and blinked them inside. Ellie giggled, her feet taking her to a rack of clothes, desperate to change out of her old uniform. Five walked passed the girl, walking towards a display of mannequins, smiling fondly to the one that stood in the middle. "Delores. It's good to see you. We've missed you... obviously. Well, it's... it's been a rough couple of days." not far away from the sweet moment, Ellie smiled at her husband who was showing his vulnerable side, but steps snapped her off her trance and got her running towards Five, her arms still full of some clothes. "Love, I think we've got company."

After her statement, bullets flew, shooting Delores in the torso making her fall to the ground in two pieces. The couple hid behind racks of clothes, peeking through them to see the familiar figures of Hazel and Cha-cha. "It's them." Ellie whispered her hand reaching over and pulling the Delores to their side. Still breathing heavily, Five made her look to him placing a chaste kiss to her lips "You two, stay here. I'll be back for you." With that he left despite, Ellie willing him not to, but with the bullets she couldn't follow the teleporting boy.

The shooting was relentless, not allowing Ellie to move from her position, her heart hammering violently in her chest as she feared for Five. The noise would surely attract police, the inside of the store now completely obliterated. Five fought back against the assassins, the sharp trowel he held slashed onto Cha-cha's arm making blood pulse out of her and then staining her sleeve. As bullets were sent his way, Five blinked again, this time he ended up hidden behind some racks, he then ducked and begun running to where he left Delores and Ellie, taking a bag with him on his way. Elli saw him approaching and then went ahead to shove Delores and the clothes into the bag, the two making a run for it behind the shelves and racks to avoid the sight of the assassins prepared to kill them.

The boy grabbed his wife's hand, trying to teleport but his powers refused to cooperate. "Five, your're tired. We need to run." She whispered to him, pulling him over a shelf to escape. Guns firing behind them as Sirens began wailing outside, distracting the assassins from their targets, something that enabled the two to hide behind the counter. Both were trying to control their breathing, still holding onto each other's hands as they listened briefly to what was happening. The short rest enabled the boy to teleport them, disappearing from sight.
