One day more was left, another day for them to prepare for the apocalypse that was to come and they were bickering. Well what did anyone expect really? It wouldn't be a Hargreeves family meeting without a healthy dose of insults. Even if there were only four of them in the room the bickering was bound to happen. Allison of course wasn't present, and with that being said Luther wasn't there leading either. Vanya was off with her boyfriend so it left Five, Klaus, Ellie and Severus Snape.

"That bastard that nearly killed our sister's still out there, with Vanya. We need to go after her." Diego said, stalking on the carpet, looking straight at his much younger brother in the standard Umbrella Academy uniform, while Klaus and Ellie took their places on the couch, the latter noticing something slightly off with Klaus.

"Vanya isn't important." The boy pointed out harshly causing Diego to scowl at him.

"Hey, that's your sister. A little heartless even for you, Five."

"I'm not saying I don't care about her, but if the apocalypse happens today, she dies with the other seven billion of us... Harold Jenkins is our priority." Five countered, making a good point judging from Diego's change in expression.

"I agree, let's go." The man's voice was rather, reserved as he began walking away. But before either of them could get far Klaus piped in.

"You guys can count me out." This caught the two brothers off guard, Ellie not so much as she had already sensed the hesitation around him. "I mean, no offense or whatever. It's just... I kinda feel this is a whole lot of pressure of newly sober me. So..."

"You're coming." insisted Diego. But Klaus was persistent and it wasn't going to end up good for him.

"No,no,no I mean, I think we can all agree that my power's... I mean it's pretty much useless. Right Pix? I'd just be holding you guys back." He reasoned out once more, even surprising Elle as she was dragged into it. But the other two men in the room didn't look the least bit impressed.

"Klaus get up." Commanded Five, his harsh tone meaning business. It even got Ellie to get up and stand by his side. But Klaus is Klaus right?

"You can't make me." He retaliated. But as he said so a blade came whooshing into the cushion making feathers fly everywhere, startling Klaus in the process. He sighed out, shooting Diego a dirty look. "Oh, then again, a little exercise won't hurt."

The Hargreeves set of again in search of Harold Jenkins, but what they ended up seeing and finding out was a gruesome surprise. There was no sign of forced entry in the home, but the interior was a mess. As if a tornado came by and just disappeared out of nowhere. And there in the middle of it all lie a man, stabbed in multiple places by multiple things, bloodied and surely dead. His one eye was still open, making the entire scene even more creepier than it already was.

"It's not exactly what I was expecting." Klaus said, crouching down slightly to look at the corpse. They were amazed with the murder, completely astonished, just as they were seeing the cut on Allison's throat, only this time in ended up in death.

"There's no sign of Vanya." Ellie was the one to point out after she looked around, not really wanting to look at the dead man.

"Let's get out of here before the cops come." Diego said, already turned around, Klaus following suit.

"Guys wait." Ellie stopped them, elbowing Five's pocket where the eye was. This made five wince but ultimately understand what his wife meant to say. The couple walked towards him, already smelling more of the pungent irony scent of the blood. Five knelt down taking out the little pouch and then letting the eye tumble into his hand. Ellie grimaced as she peeled of the bandage on his eye then having Five shove the orb into the socket.

"Same eye color, same pupil size. This is it. The eye that we've been carrying for decades has found its found its rightful home." Five sighed before reaching over to retrieve the eye, making both Diego and Klaus retch.

"We got the guy that we were supposed to kill to stop the apocalypse." Diego announced earning a cheer from Klaus who was stood beside him. But Ellie kept her eyes on Harold, shaking her head hearing the shuffling going on not far from her.

"This can't be this easy." She said, Five nodding in agreement, taking out the note in his other pocket.

"Elle's right. This is the note I got from the commission. The one that says protect Harold Jenkins, Aka Leonard Peabody. Who killed him? Who did this." the boy argued to his brother, jabbing a hand towards the corpse to make his point.

"I have a crazy idea... crazy but why don't we find Vanya...--" Unfortunately Ellie didn't hear the rest of Klaus's plan because a certain someone had grabbed her hand and whoosh them away in a blur of blue.
