The Accident

A/N: Thank you so much @gloomyanimesimp for my first follow! I love their story KilluGon Oneshots, so if you like this, you should go read it! (sorry for the call out :P)

Killua's POV

I come downstairs after changing for bed. I hear Gon and Aunt Mito talking in the other room. We had gone to explore the island today, and Gon was probably telling her about our adventures. I walk past the kitchen table, and a glow distracts me. I peer over the counter, and see Gon's phone. The screen is still on, and showing texts.

I begin to read the text string. I feel kinda guilty about that, but he left it there, so...

Gon: I think I like him. Like, like-like.

Mito: Ooh, really?

Gon: Yeah, I do. I always get nervous around him, and my heart beats fast.

What? Who is Gon talking about? Surely it can't be me, right?

Mito: That's definitely love

Gon: IN LOVE? That's a bit far.

A bit? I think so.

Mito: Well, what are you going to do?

Gon: Um... Should I do something? What if Killua doesn't feel the same?

'Killua' rings in my head. So it is me. My heart starts beating, and my face flushes. I feel like I should stop reading, but I can't stop now.

Mito: It's worth a try, so just make a move. But a small one, just so it doesn't get weird. 

Gon: Okay, maybe tonight.

Tonight!? It hasn't happened yet, so it must be today. I suddenly got really nervous and sweaty. I put the phone down, and turn it off. I slowly go into the living room where Gon and Aunt Mito are talking. They get quiet when I enter, and I bet they were talking about Gon's 'move'.

"Hey Killua! Oh, you're ready for bed. Okay, let's go up stairs then." Gon said with a pointed look at Mito when she fakely coughed. I pretended not to know what it was about.

"A-Anyway, let's go upstairs." Gon said, blushing and walking away quickly. I blushed when he blushed, because it was cute.

What? I didn't think I felt that way, but now I recall all the times Gon has made my heart flutter, and that's definitely not normal.

I walk into the room and sit on my side of the bed, stretching. Gon, who had paused in the doorway to itch his leg, comes in after me. He sits down next to me.

My heart flutters as I open my eyes from the stretch. He is VERY red. "W-What?" I try to calm myself and pretend I don't know what is happening.

Gon looks out the window and puts his hand over mine, now resting on the bed. He scoots closer, making our arms brush. Both of our faces are flushed, and I'm trying my best not to act like I expected all this. I didn't really, and I was still embarrassed.

Gon turns to me. "I... I like you Killua!" He shouts, then says quietly, "I don't mean to embarrass you, but I really do." His dropped eyes look back into mine. His face is almost all red, and his hand is turning very hot.

"I-I feel the same, Gon. I like you too." I say, waiting for a reaction.

I get a reaction. Gon pulls my hand forward, and puts his other hand around my neck. He smiles and makes his face touch mine. He's nervous at first, I can tell, (so am I), but after a while he softens, and draws me into him, completely surrounding me. My eyes close gently, and I squeeze the back of his shirt.

After a while, he breaks away. He is still holding on to me, but now just our noses are touching, instead of our lips. We are now both almost back to our normal face colors, but still a little red.

"I'm so glad you feel the same Killua." Gon looks up at me, and smiles.

"Me too. Goodnight Gon." I say, holding him tight for a second, and then letting go.

"Goodnight, Killua." He says quietly.
