Put A Finger Down

Gon's POV

"*sigh* What should we do?" Killua flops down next to me on the floor. Kurapika and Leorio had come to visit us on Whale Island, and it was cold today. We were staying in, and were trying to think of something to do.

"I know!" Leorio sits down as well and Kurapika joins us, sitting neatly.

"What?" Me and Killua join in, sitting in a circle.

"Have you ever heard of the game 'put a finger down'?" Leorio asks.

"No, how do you play?" I ask.

"Well, someone will say something, and then if what they say applies to you, you put a finger down. You lose once you have no fingers left." He explains.

"Oh, sounds fun!" I say. Leorio smirks, and I wonder what that's about.

"Alright fine." Killua sighs. He seems cautious, like he's nervous what the statements are going to be. It's gonna be fun. Why is everyone acting weird?

"Okay. I'll go first. Put a finger down if you... are named Kurapika." Leorio says.

"Hey! No targeting!" Kurapika says as he puts a finger down.

"I'll go now!" I say, thinking of something. Yeah! I'll do that. It's sure to embarrass Leorio!

"Put a finger down if you like-like someone." I say, laughing a bit.

Everyone else blushes, and puts their fingers down as they look away. I put half a finger down, and they all look back at me.

"So. Everyone has a crush." Killua says slowly.

"Wait, you have one Gon?" Kurapika asks me.

"Well, I think so. I've never had one before, so I'm not sure. But, yeah." I answer truthfully.

"Since everyone has one, I'll ask this now. Put a finger down if your crush is a guy." Leorio says.

"That's personal Leorio!" Kurapika says, glancing at Killua.

"I don't mind answering. As long as everyone else does." Killua says, and I nod in agreement.

We all hesitate, and then all of us put a whole finger down. What if... No. Killua's couldn't possibly be me. But...

"That escalated kinda quickly haha..." I laugh at the difference between the first and the most recent questions.

"Leorio is really obvious." Killua says, and Leorio elbows him.

"About what?" I ask, a bit confused.

"About who his is." Killua answers, making Leorio blush.

"Yeah, like you're not." Kurapika taunts, standing up for Leorio. Killua turns red.

"Okay let's not. We don't need to try and force people to tell." I say, and Killua sits down, still a bit pink. Maybe it is me.

After a minute, nobody has said anything. Anytime we try to look at each other, we just all end up blushing, and turning away.

"Maybe we should just tell. Because it's obvious. So..." I suggest, breaking the silence.

"Alright. All at the same time." Kurapika says, looking a bit nervous.

"3... 2... 1..." I count down, my heart racing. This is it!

Me: "K- Killua!"

Killua: "It's you, Gon.

Kurapika: "Leorio."

Leorio: "Kurapika..."

We all stare in shock, before collecting ourselves, and blushing. Kurapika coughs slightly.

"Who would've thought everyone would be here." Leorio says, chuckling.

"Gon. Come here." Killua grabs my hand and pulls me up and around the corner. We are holding hands!! Calm down heart, geez. *mental happy/nervous laugh*

"Yes Killua?" I ask once we're around the corner. I hear Leorio laugh really loud from the other room. They must be bonding.

"So you like me?" He asks, still holding onto my hands, now facing me.

"Well yeah. And you do too right?" Please say yes.

"Baka. Of course I do." He says, coming closer.

"What's that supposed to mean?" That wasn't really a straight yes, but I'll take it.

Killua doesn't say anything, but instead yanks me all the way forward, so there's almost no space between us. He spans the remainder of the gap, pressing his lips to mine.

I'm startled at first, but sink into it, holding Killua's hands tighter. Wow. I knew kissing Killua would be fun/nice, but this is even better than I thought. Is this really his first kiss?

After a minute, I break away, gasping for breath a bit. "Woah..."

"What?" He says, redden as he looks into my eyes.

"You're a good kisser, Killua!" I say, smiling.

"Sh-Shut up." He blushes even more.

"Hehe." I swing our held together arms back and forth.

"Hey Gon. What's to bet Kurapika and Leorio also kissed?" Killua snickers.

"I'm not sure we should be betting that." I'm not sure if they would like us doing that.

Killua sighs, walking me back towards the corner. "Come on. I bet they did, or are."

"...Fine. I agree with you." We both stick our faces around the corner, and I slowly open my eyes.

Kurapika and Leorio are facing each other, blushing. Kurapika covers his mouth, and Leorio sits there, shocked.

"See? I told you!" Killua steps in all the way, and plops down, pulling me next to him. We sit close, our legs brushing, making our faces heat.

Leorio and Kurapika scoot farther apart. "No, no. Continue." Killua waves his hand.

"Don't force them, Killu..." I say, elbowing him softly.

"Killu, huh? Seems like we're not the only ones who did something~" Leorio taunts.

"Hey! Where'd you get the idea to call me that!" Killua's face flushes, and he turns to me, looking embarrassed.

"You know you like it." I kiss him again, shorter this time. He's so cute when he's flushed.

"B- Baka." He turns away, biting his lip.

"Killu~" I stick my tongue out, pushing his shoulders back.

We push and shove each other around for a minute, but then Killua silences me with a third kiss. Wow. Three. Hehe. That's probably more than Leorio and Kurapika had.

I stare at Killua, and He stares back at me. I hear Leorio snicker, and Kurapika chuckle. That was fun! Thanks, Leorio, for suggesting this game.
