Ice Skating

Killua's POV

"Hi Kurapika! And Leorio!" Gon says standing on his toes and waving as our friends walk up the hill. I look at Gon, blushing when he catches my eye.

"Hey." I say, not moving.

"Killua! Be more inviting!" Gon says with an elbow to the arm. I can't help but blush. I turn away.

Leorio and Kurapika exchange a glance, and then Kurapika says, "Hello. Thank you for inviting us. We have brought the necessary equipment to go ice skating."

"You're always so formal, Kurapika!!" Leorio says, poking Kurapika in the arm. Me and Gon exchange a glance as well.

~Timeskip~

"We made it!" Gon says, looking at the empty frozen pond on the edge of the woods. It had been quite a trek to get here.

"Finally." I say, trying to sound cool, but really I was excited.

"Let's put on our skates." Gon says, not really caring about what other people are thinking. He's obviously just excited. He's so cute when he's excited!

"Hey Killua! Come here for a sec!" Leorio shouts from a couple feet away.

"What?" I say, walking towards Kurapika and Leorio.

"We saw how you looked at Gon! And how you blush when he talks to you..." Leorio's voice raises in mockery. I feel my face flush. They caught me!

"I-It's not like that!" My gosh! Why did I have to stammer!!

"Yes. You certainly look at him as more than a friend." Kurapika says plainly.

"You guys are both in on this?" A pause. "Fine! Maybe I do then." My voice drops to a whisper.

"I knew it! Well, I have an idea. I think you should skate next to him, and try to hold his hand while you skate, like couples do in movies. Then, you should lead him behind that big tree over there, and tell him how you feel." Leorio playfully hits my shoulder. 

"Maybe I will." That sounds very scary!! I'm totally going to chicken out.

I go to the rock next to the pond and put on my skates. It's very cold outside, so I have my big coat. I hope I can skate well in front of Gon.

"Hey, Gon. Mind if I skate next to you?" I ask, heart thumping loudly.

"Um, sure." Gon says, looking a little bit confused. As we skate around the small pond, I can hear Leorio and Kurapika snickering. I hope this goes well!!

Me and Gon skate next to each other, but not very gracefully. We just go in circles, sometimes stumbling. As we go around for the third time, I can feel the air get a little awkward, since we're not saying anything. 

I slowly reach for Gon's hand, first taking his pinky. I hear him swallow, and hear our friends gasp in surprise. I grab hold of the rest of his hand, and now our arms are swinging between us as we skate. 

Oh my gosh! We're actually holding hands!

I look over at Gon, and he is staring straight ahead, his face blush-y. Out of impulse, I stop, and take his hand upwards. The sudden motion makes Gon spin in a waltz style. I tip him over, and catch him in my right arm. I bow towards our friends, who are still near the edge.

"K-Killua!! I didn't know you could skate so well! And why'd you do that?" Gon asks, his face in awe. I didn't know I could do that either. Hopefully he forgives me for this!!

"I...I like you Gon. As more than a friend. This is my way of saying so." What is he going to say?

"R-Really!? Me too Killua! I didn't think you would feel th-" He cuts off, because I push him and pull him towards me, and then kiss him. It's one fluid motion: to-the-side-up-forward-kiss.

I feel his body flinch, and then kiss me back.

"Wow Killua... I'm in shock. That was amazing!" Gon says, face red.

"Thanks!" I say, before taking his hand and pulling him to continue skating. We pass our friends, and we wave at them. They stare back, eyes wide mouths open.

I mouth "How was that?" To them.

They both just nod, look at each other, and nod again.

I guess they didn't think I was actually going to do anything. Especially not right out in the open.

I look back towards Gon, and he looks at me. We both just smile and blush.

Also, if you haven't realized the pattern by now, its pretty much just: happenings, blushing, confession, embarrassment, kiss! So, of course, a lot of them will be like that, with subtle changes like Kurapika and Leorio, or holidays!
