The Diary

Gon's POV

I woke up. It's still very dark outside. I look at the clock on the wall, 4:46. Turning over, I see Killua sound asleep. Something is laying across his stomach.

Slowly sitting up, I reach for the object, making sure not to touch Killua. He's so peaceful and small when he sleeps... What am I thinking! Don't get distracted. The thing is a notebook, and the page it was open to was completely filled. I use a flashlight we keep beside the bed, and turn it on to read the page.

Gon is so amazing all the time. Even when he sleeps, it's such a special feeling I get when I look at him. Today, when we went to go get some food, I couldn't stop looking at him, and watching how gracefully he moves. Every time he would look at me, my heart would flutter and I could feel my face turning red. I can't imagine that he would feel the same though, because he only thinks about training. I wish I could know what Gon thinks about when he looks at me.

Killua! That's so sweet. Do I think about him the same way? Do I get butterflies when I look at him? I don't know. But I probably shouldn't read any further. I look back at Killua, and think Is it true? Does his heart really beat faster and his face flush whenever he looks at me? Thinking about that makes my breath catch in my throat.

"Mmf-" Killua squeezes his eyes shut and then opens them slowly.

Ack! I'm still holding his notebook! If he looks over and sees me, it's going to be weird. I can't just put it back though. Then he would feel it. Crap! What do I do!

I just sit there, panicking, and watch Killua fully awaken. He turns to me, and when he sees me holding his journal, his eyes widen and he sits up fast.

"Hey! What were you doing with that!" Killua whisper-shouts, and yanks it back. He looks down at the page it was open to, and gasps, his face flushing.

"I didn't mean to snoop, you just left it open!" I say quickly.

"Yeah right!" Killua says, shutting the book loudly.

"Killua!! I'm serious! I didn't think it would be so personal, so I just grabbed it. I'm sorry." I say, growing quieter, looking down.

"Well, you could have just left it where it was!" Killua says, obviously regretting being angry about it.

"I-I'm sorry. I didn't know you would get so upset. I turn to face Killua all the way. I take hold of his hands, and look into his eyes. He blushes and sighs, tearing his gaze away.

"Killua... I just wanted to say that I-...I feel the same. I don't like it when we keep secrets from each other, so I'm just going to tell you. I think you're amazing too, and when I look at you, my heart flutters too." Part of that was a lie, but it was going to happen from now on, so I think it was fine. I push myself closer, and move my hands to his forearms.

"Gon, I...I don't know what to say. Thanks, I guess?" Killua says, looking back at me and breathing shallow, even though he was trying to appear calm.

"Well, your welcome." I lean in, closing the gap between us. Bringing my hands to his shoulders, I kiss him slow. I've never kissed anybody before, so I was trying my best. I could feel Killua flinch and then soften, pressing his hands down against the bed. I'm shorter than him, so I tilt my head upwards (just a little).

Killua breaks away, and says, "Gon, you're so amazing at everything. I can't believe you actually like someone like me." Killua looks sad, and his eyes sparkle.

"Killua, don't be sad!" I wrap my arms around his upper arms, hugging him, pinning his arms to his sides. "You shouldn't feel that way." I say. Killua lays his head on my shoulder.

"Go back to sleep Killua." I say, and kiss him on the nose before laying down. He lays down, and faces me. We fall asleep holding hands. 

A/N: Yay! I really like this one! Anyways, if you haven't recognized the theme by now, pretty much all the stories are going to be blushing, confession, kiss, with some changed elements like holidays and POV's. I might be making angst and or older (if you know what I mean) oneshots in the future. I've been thinking about making those in a different book, since these are supposed to be cute!!
