The Hot Tub

Killua's POV

"Wow! Isn't it great Killua!?" Gon asks. We had convinced Mito to buy us a small hot tub. It had just been set up by the guys who brought it here, and now we had to wait for it to heat up.

"Y-Yeah, it's great." I say, watching Gon set the temperature.

"What is it Killua? Why'd you say it like that?" Gon asks, turning to me.

"L-Like what?" I say, pretending I don't know what he's talking about.

"Like that." He says, pointing at me. Well, Gon, I'm thinking about how if we go in the hot tub together, obviously we won't have shirts on, and I don't know how I'm going to survive that without blushing a bunch. But you can't know that yet.

"Whatever." He says when I don't answer.

"How long is it going to take to heat up?" I ask, moving on.

"Um, it should be ready by tonight." He says, looking back at the thermometer. (A/N I know that's unrealistic, but I have to move the story along!! :P)

"Okay. What are we going to do until then?"

"I was thinking we should work out!"

"Why? That's so tiring!"

"Stop being lazy! It's so that when the hot tub's ready, we'll be all tired and it will feel nice!"

"Oh, yeah that makes sense." I fold up my arms behind my head.

"Let's go then!"

~Timeskip~

"That was exhausting! But fun!" Gon says after we get back from the gym.

"Yeah whatever." I reply, looking away.

"We should go in the hot tub now!" Gon exclaims, heading upstairs. He goes into the room we share, and I follow. Oh no. The time I'm dreading.

He hands me a swimsuit. "Here! You can use one of mine since you don't have one. You can change in the bathroom. I'll wait in here."

"O-Okay." I go into the bathroom and change, leaving my shirt off, since we're only going right outside. I grab me and Gon towels from the linen closet. Here goes.

I step out of the bathroom, and Gon is standing by the door. He looks over at me with his wide eyes. I blush when I see he has no shirt on. Wow. I'm reacting better than I thought I would.

"Come on Killua." He grabs my free hand and pulls me out of the room and downstairs. EEK!

"Okay okay! I'm coming!" We run outside and Gon folds the hot tub lid and puts it on the ground. He gets in fast, and I follow much slower. "Wow Killua! The stars are so pretty tonight!" Gon says as he looks up. Oh my gosh! We touched! Me and Gon brush knees in the small hot tub.

"Not as pretty as you." I say as I look Gon right in the eyes. Why did I say that! Oh no!

"K-Killua! What was that for!?" Gon exclaims as he turns all the way towards me, face red.

"I-I like you Gon. As more than a friend. Seeing you without a shirt makes me blush. I hope you understand." That probably sounded creepy. Oops.

"Oh thanks! You look nice without a shirt too Killua!" Gon says, smiling although still blushing.

"R-Really? In a friend way, though, huh?" I say, interpreting as him saying 'we're just friends'.

Then, Gon leans in and puts his hands on my shoulders, pulling me closer. He closes his eyes and gives me a sweet little kiss right on the lips. Um. Woah. This is great.

"There. Is that clear enough?" Gon says, breaking away though still very close.

"Yeah. It is. Thanks Gon." I take his hands off my shoulders and put them into my hands, and pull him closer. We kiss again, underneath the stars in Gon's new hot tub. This is quite romantic, I must say. We break away, and just smile and blush.
