Winter Time

Killua's POV

"Hey Killua! Want to go out in the snow with me?" Gon asks, because today is the first day of the year where it's been snowing. He's so innocent!

"Sure, whatever." I say, blushing slightly.

"Yay!" Gon goes over to where we keep our coats and starts putting his on. I follow.

"Here, Killua!" Gon says, handing me my coat with a smile. Hmph! I could have gotten it myself! I take it from him and put it on, feeling my face go scarlet when our hands brush.

"Oh, put this on too! Then we'll match!" Gon says, giving me a Santa hat, and putting one on his own head. I put mine on grudgingly and feel my cheeks tint pink when I look at Gon, because he looks really cute and special in his hat. Focus! You have to look cool too.

Gon reaches up and adjusts my hat, making it straighter. 

I blush and he says "There! Come on." He goes out the door and I follow, out into the snow. I try hard not to be mesmerized by the beauty of the snow. I want to act cool for Gon!!

Gon gestures towards a bench, so we can watch the snow fall. I sit next to him, maybe a little closer than usual, wanting to be close. Maybe I'll tell him how I feel... NO! You'll ruin the season, Killua! Not today. Not yet.

I blush at my thoughts, and Gon says, "Killua!? Are you cold? Your face is red!" Gon leans closer, and puts his hand on the side of my face, feeling my skin's temperature. 

Ack! Why is he so close! And that's not helping, because my face is just growing redder!!

"Stop! That's weird." I say, pushing his arm back and turning away.

"Killua! Your hand's so cold! Why aren't you wearing gloves?" Gon says after I touch his hand.

"You aren't either!" I say, looking back at him.

He grabs hold of both of my hands in both of his, bringing them close to his face.

"G-Gon! What are you doing?" I say, staring at my hands in his.

"Warming them up for you, Killua!" He says, scooting closer on the bench.

I yank my hands away and cross them in front of me, looking away again.

"Killua! I'm just trying to help!" Gon pouts, leaning forward with his hands on his lap.

"My hands we're fine enough in the first place." That's not true, they are kinda cold.

"W-Well, I wanted to hold them anyway, s-so there." Gon says, crossing his arms as well, and turning up his head, blushing. Um, WHAT? He wanted to hold my hands?

"You do? Why?" I already know the answer, but I want to hear him say it so I don't mis-guess.

"I-I like you Killua!" Gon shouts, and then says, "I wanted to tell you today, because it's so nice out." His face is super crimson, and his eyes are closed. He looks so cute when he's flustered like that haha... Right! Answer!

"Me too Gon. That's why it's so awkward to have you do those kinds of things." I say, reddening.

"R-Really? That's great Ki-" Take this Gon! "Ki-" He tries to say again. Placing my hands on the bench, I lean forward and kiss him. His mouth is slightly open, and clenched shut. I slowly take his face in my hands, feeling him loosen and lean into me.

With my hands still on his face, he leans back an inch and says, "K-Killua... This is the best day ever!" He whisper-shouts, smiling. So precious!

"Gon, stop making it weird. Come on, let's go back to the house." I stand up and take his hand, pulling him up off the bench. We walk in comfortable silence, holding each other's hands tightly.

"Thanks Killua!" Gon says once we get back to the house, reaching upwards and hugging me around the neck. I'm startled at first, but wrap my arms around his middle back, pulling him up a little.

"You're so tall!" He says, stepping back but keeping his hands on my shoulders.

"I'm only like two inches taller than you!" I pull him closer and kiss him again, nice and quick.

"Hehe!" He closes his eyes and kisses me back once more.

We break apart, only our arms and hands touching, and both smile and blush.
