'She doesn't remember me.' His inner voice spoke the matter of fact in his mind. Kazuki has finally accepted the fact of him vanishing in Asu's memories. "Letting go is also a performance of love." he remarked before returning to England.

'When the one that stepped out of my life
lives in the deepest of my heart,
the only authority I owned is to think of you secretly.
You are the tears in my heart.
You are the name that is carved in my mind.
You are the secret of my life.'

The dirt track was dyed in a warming hue by the setting sun. Marching scenes of wilting trees lined by the road played as he pressed the accelerator, speeding up without hesitation. Like the scenery filtered with a sepia tone, the journey transformed into a memory lane filled with forgotten memories.

Turning the wheel to the side and stopping the car by the roadside, the grey-haired man hopped off the car and closed the door. Leaning against the steel door, he picked a cigarette box out of the slant pocket of his trousers.

Picking a stick from the uncovered box, he held the stick between his thin lips before flickering the lighter to light its end. Taking a puff of the nicotine, he exhaled the excessive smoke from his mouth; yet, the nicotine did not seem sufficient to cast away his stirring sorrow within.

He secured the box and the silver lighter into his pocket before fishing out his mobile phone. Staring at his favourite contact in the virtual phone book, a tingling sensation impacted. Hesitatingly, he tapped before pressing the mobile phone against his ear.
