The thunderstorm was just as fierce as today. "Will we meet again sometime?" That was the last question she asked. "Until we meet again." That was the last thing he said before he left 34 days ago, in front of her apartment, after breakfast they had.
"Let's celebrate our birthdays together. I'll meet you before my birthday ends, and I'll leave after your birthday starts. And so, we can still celebrate with friends, okay?" The suggestion that Asu made, the only promise they had- and it still lingered in Kazuki's mind now and then.
Burying his concentration into the paperwork that never gets along with him didn't seem to make the time move faster than it was. The ticking second-hand sounded louder than usual; each tick-tock stimulated his impatience further, interrupting his concentration with numerous thoughts.
'Just what am I frustrated about?' Kazuki threw his temper, literally, to his unsettled emotion. 'She's an adult. She definitely knows what she is doing,' he started a conversation with his inner self in the centre of his brain.
