"Have you ever loved me?" Zen uttered his question as he glued his eyes onto Asu without a blink. However, her silence was what he received. With the unspoken answer, Zen walked away from Asu and stepped off their relationship.
'Love is like the summer breeze.
It comes without an alert,
and it leaves without a trace.
You can't see it,
but you can feel it.
You can feel it;
yet, you can't hold it.'Chattering sounds behind the lounge music dominated the lively atmosphere of the barely lit room. Among the crowds of drinkers, a navy-haired man was sitting by the bar alone, making him stand out among the crowds.
Holding a translucent lowball glass, the navy-haired man picked up the wedge of lime from the small glass before staining its flesh with grains of finely ground salt. He then held up the glass with another hand and gulped down the strong spirit.
As the burning sensation travelled from his oral cavity to his pharynx and spread through his oesophagus, the composed man sucked the flesh of the fresh lime. He then discarded the lime onto the emptied glass.
A hint of zestiness spiced up the fruitiness in the harsh liquid; yet, it did not melt the tangled thoughts in his mind. A sense of freshness lingered in his taste buds; yet, it did not freshen up his mood. Like the taste of spring, the liquor was; yet, it did not bring the blooming spring into his blue winter, nor did it bloom his precious relationship.
