Chapter 19: Sickness

Suddenly Lorena wakes up with a huge gasp of air as if she couldn't breathe

Samael: Lora! You're finally awake! How are you? How do you feel?

Lorena placed her hand on her forehead as she felt a slight pain, with her hand she felt a bandage

Lorena: Wh- What happened?

Lorena looked around and to her surprise she was at her room, unaware of how she got there, as Samael looked at her and said

Samael: I honestly don't know what happened, you banged your head pretty hard in the party hall, after a bit you passed out and I brought you here

Lorena couldn't remember what happened, all she had on her head was that voice, a female voice, unlike any she has heard before, didn't feel familiar at all, but she couldn't connect it to anyone she knew, and then as if light was lit in a dark room memories of what happened rushed through her head

Lorena: Agh... I no... I- I couldn't have! I- I WOULD NEVER KILL SOMEONE! NO! THAT'S NOT ME I WOULD NEVER!

Lorena started shaking and sweating, her left eye started twitching as she shoved her hair back with her hands

Lorena: LOOK AT ME SAM, I'M A MURDERER, I KILLED THEM SAM, CAN YOU REALLY LOVE SOMEONE LIKE ME!? SOMEONE LIKE THIS!?

Samael quickly hugged Lorena as she stopped shaking and with a surprised face started crying

Samael: You're not a murderer Lora, things happen this life ain't perfect, but what ever happens I will never stop loving you, never have and never will

Lorena shocked by his words started smiling and hugged Samael back

Lorena: Even if I'm a mess, you won't leave me?

Samael: I won't!

Lorena: Even if I'm sick in the head, you'll stay here?

Samael: Until I give my last breath!

Lorena: Even if I can't control that side of me, will you still be by my side?

Samael: I will help you gain control over your head, I will always be here no matter what!

Lorena looked at Samael and said

Lorena: Would... Would you spend the night with me?

Samael was surprised but quickly answered

Samael: Of course I would, I wouldn't miss it for anything in the world!

The next morning

An alarm clock suddenly starts sounding as Lorena suddenly wakes up with her hair all messy

Lorena: Uh? Shit... I overslept!!!

Lorena quickly stood up and get herself ready and ran all the way to the meeting room where everyone was waiting for her

Rayne: Took ya long enough Lora, where were ya!?

Clarice: Yeah! We saved you some breakfast but I think it's already cold, here I'll go heat it up!

Lorena with a kinda exhausted face but a great motivation responded

Lorena: I'm sorry everyone, as a leader I have failed today's duty to be on time, but I promise this won't ever happen again! From now on I will be the first to greet you all here on the meeting room
