Rayne: Well Clarice, the thing is that when I was a kid and me and my brother where born we where both born as twins, but somehow the doctors didn't know this till the day of birth, since apparently I covered my brother up, and well for good reason cause if my dad would've known he was there too he would've aborted him... My dad didn't want a boy he wanted just a girl, this divided my parents, and when we where both born my dad told my mom to get rid of my brother or he'll divorce and take my custody... My mom refused and he went with the divorce, after I was a year old my dad took full custody of me and took me to his parents house in a field somewhere in Texas, there from a very young age my dad told me everything about cars, he really was fascinated by them ever since he was small and he wanted me to be a mechanic, since I was 6 I knew how to drive and repair cars, infact I got my license in that time too, illegally but I still did.
Rayne looked at her wallet and then stared at the moon again
Rayne: What a pretty night
Rayne looked at Clarice as she had a very attentive and serious face, Rayne let out a sigh and continued
Rayne: After some time I found out about my mother and brother, I didn't knew they existed till I was 8 but there was really not much I could do, I also found out that to all our neighbors we where the losers, Pelinton wasn't even a name they worded, we where straight up the losers, since we never went to school or accomplished anything for that matter, my dad got sick of it so one day he decided enough was enough and he finally at the age of 8 appointmented me to an elementary school, I think I was in 1st grade or so, I was older than all my classmates and for some reason I was super tall even when I was a kid I've always been really tall, and for that reason I was the outcast, I was hated in my class and was treated like a way to release tension, in front of the teachers they behaved but in their backs they would call me names and mock me for being tall and "fat"... I never told anyone until one day I got sick of everything and I decided to tell a teacher, the teacher called the kids parents and everything was sorted for a while I thought, but not a week after they all pinned me down by the play ground and with a pencil the leader of them, Veronica Ramirez, the daughter of the main people who call our family losers, the Ramirez, carved this L symbol on my face and like she said "Get marked for what ya are, a Loser! And like the cow ya are obey your superiors! Ya tell the teachers again bitch and ya won't see the end of it!" She then spat me and threw sand on my hair and left, she used me as a lightning rod to divert hatred towards her, and she used my suffering to become popular and powerful...
Rayne started tearing up as her voice started cracking
Rayne: And then... When I got home and my dad saw me he was furious, he yelled he had enough and he got a shovel and went towards the Ramirez's and them... I heard a loud bang and silence, after that my grandma said she couldn't take care of me so she sent me with my mom here in California Fracture City, when she saw me she couldn't believe how big I was, I had never met her before so I was nervous, but after some time I got to know her and my brother better and I got along with them very well, I used make up to hide the scar and went to school, and then that's where I met her, Lorena Starnaly, and she changed my world immensely, and well things shaped themselves to how they are now
Clarice with a very worried expression passed her thumb through Raynes scar
Clarice: I see, you've been through a lot of things you do not deserve, you have suffered a lot, but you don't have to worry cause that suffering is over, you have us now Rayne and you can trust us with anything you need! The same way we trust you!
Clarice let's out a smile making Rayne start crying, she plants her face against the wheel of the car and says
Rayne: Thank ya, Clarice...
Clarice: No problem Rayne! Now let's go with Marney and Lora, they must be worried!
Suddenly someone knocks on Raynes window making Rayne and Clarice jump in fear
Lorena: Ah! There you guys are! We've been looking for you!
Clarice: Ah! It's only you Lora! Geez you scared us!
Marney suddenly steps on Clarice's window and says
Marney: I'm here too silly
Clarice jumps from fear hitting her head with the cars roof
Clarice: Ah crap, Ah what!? Marney! You tricky bastard! You scared me!
Marney started giggling
Marney: Well it wasn't my intention that's what you get for making us worry!
Clarice and Rayne laughed and exited the Car
Lorena: So, we decided to watch a movie you guys in!?
Rayne: Sure! Which movie though?
Marney: Well that's the surprise and mystery! You'll find out when we start it!
Clarice: Not only sneaky and tricky but secretive to!? Marney you are on a roll lately!
Marney: Well it's the first time I've had friends, I've been trying really hard to be cool
Lorena: You don't have to try to be anything Marney, just be yourself! Because to us you are perfect just being you! We won't abandon you if you're not cool, and besides I think you're pretty cool when you get to be yourself!
Not expecting it Marney blushes a bit and looks the other way
Marney: Anyway, I'll see you all there!
She rushes off to the theater room in the HQ
Rayne: Well that was unexpected, anyway sorry for taking so long Lora, I was just talking about some stuff
Lorena: Yeah it's alright, I thought it was the case I just got worried so I came to check!
Rayne: Ah, this reminds me of the time ya cut classes to come check on me at the infirmary when I got hit by a baseball in the stomach!
Lorena stared blankly at Rayne trying to remember what she's talking about but for a reason she doesn't know she feels familiarity but can't remember what it was
Lorena: Um yeah yeah that time! I always do what I can for my best friend!
Rayne noticed something off but brushed it off
Clarice: Um that really sounds fun and cool! You guys really have quite the history yes?
Rayne: Indeed so! And well it's technically only getting started!
Clarice: I see, anyway I'm going with Marney see you both there!
Clarice weirdly walks away
Rayne: I wonder what got into her all of a sudden, anyway Lora let's go too!
When Rayne looked at Lorena she was blankly staring at the moon as it slowly got covered by the clouds and a slight red shimmer shined from her right eye as the moon came out of the clouds making it go away
Lorena: It really is a beautiful night, let's go Rayne!
Lorena walked towards the theater room
Rayne: What was that? Rayne gives one final look to the moon and the main HoC building and turned her back to go to the Theater room
