Chapter 8
I raised my brow at their shocked faces while looking at me as if I just entered the wrong place.
"Why are you all looked shocked?" I asked as I close the door behind me.
"Nashocked lang kami, akala namin kung sino nang pangit yung nakapasok, ikaw lang pala." Si Red ang unang nakabawi sa pagkagulat.
"Siguro binabackstab niyo ako." I said and approached them. Gilb offered his hand so I took it and did our usual shoulder bump. Tinanguan naman ako ni Ritmo.
"I thought, hindi ka pupunta." Wing is still shocked. I chuckled and hugged her.
Dumaan ako sa kanila kanina pero nauna na raw siyang umalis. She probably assumed I won't join the practice because of what happened last night. I don't want to ruin the party just because I am hurt.
"I'm alright. Don't worry." I whispered.
"You thought, utot." Sabat naman ni Slash na inakbayan ako after I hugged Wing.
"Hindi ikaw yung kausap, mukhang kulisap." Wing rebut that earned a laugh from the group.
"What's up bebes!" We turned our heads as Matt entered the room with a camera in his hand. Oh, he's vlogging.
"Good morning! Say hi!" Iniharap niya sa amin ang camera.
"Hi!"
"Hello!"
We waved at the camera while smiling. I noticed Ritmo only raised his hand, which is normal for him to do that. Our attention bored at Slash who walked near the camera.
"Hi, I'm Slash. Have we met somewhere?" Inilapit niya pa ang mukha sa camera.
I saw Red whispered something to Wing, the latter made an evil grin. The devils are planning something to the narcissist human named Slash. Naaawa na agad ako kay Slash. Pasimpleng nilapitan ni Wing si Slash na nasa harap pa rin ng camera.
"You look like my futu--ACK!"
Hinila ni Wing ang neck line ng damit ni Slash causing him to fall backwards that made us shocked and laughed at the same time. Tumawa lang kami at hindi siya tinulungan.
"Oh my goodness, that was epic!" Si Matt habang nakaupo na sa sahig tumatawa, pinapakita ang mukha ni Slash na nagtatago na sa mga kamay niya.
"Tangina, please edit out that Matt! Nagmamakaawa ako." Nakaharap pa din sa kanya ang camera, tumatawa pa din kami sa nangyari.
Bigla siyang tumayo at hinabol si Wing na mabilis tumakbo palayo habang tumatawa. "Pakpak!"
Humarap si Matt sa camera with us and the two running on the background. How chaotic.
"And that's it for today's Tom and Jerry episode." Sabi ni Matt habang itinatapat ang camera sa naghahabulang si Wing at Slash.
Kung hindi pa sinuway ni Jalsh at Gilb ang dalawa kanina ay baka hindi pa kami nakapagumpisa sa pagsasayaw. Masama pa din ang tingin ni Slash kay Wing samantalang pangisi-ngisi ang huli, nang-aasar pa rin. Ganun din si Red. Hay nako. Dapat talaga hindi pinagtatabi si Red at Wing.
"Nandito na yung pizza, bebes!" Matt announced with five boxes in hand and coke in can.
"Woooooooo!" Halos sabay-sabay na sigaw namin. Can't blame them, we're already hungry and exhausted.
While eating, we talked about the party tomorrow after practicing a three-to-four-minute dance with Ritmo as the DJ.
The party will be held at the rooftop tomorrow. It has a pool but it will not be used, so we're planning to build a stage in the middle.
