The following afternoon, you were spending some time at your good friend Jeremy's house, before you headed to work. He had always been your friend, since you two were in kindergarten, and all the way though high school.
Although you weren't interested in having a realtionship at the moment, he was defenitely the first guy that you'd be willing to be with. He had opend up about liking you in the past, as did you for him.
But you two knew that you had needed a break from your last realtionship. And that's another thing that you loved about him, the fact that he was so understanding of you.
The both of you were laying on the couch, watching a movie, while cuddeling under blankets. You squirmed as he started tickling you lightly.
You- Jeremy stop that..
Jeremy- stop what?
He joked, tickling you harder.
You grabbed his wrists.
You- this!
You struggled against his strength, trying to get away, but he had a thight hold on you.
Jeremy- ahh.. you don't like that?
He continued.
You laughed uncontrollably, almost crying.
You- Jeremy!!
Jeremy- alright alright..
He released you from his grip, allowing you to catch your breath.
You then laid back down with him, cuddeling against him.
You- you're such a jerk..
You joked.
Jeremy- am not..
You- are too..
You both laughed, acting like children.
He wrapped his arms around your stomach, holding your body close.
You closed your eyes slowly, feeling his soft lips on your forehead.
Jeremy- y/n..
He whispered.
You- yeah?
You spoke quietly.
Jeremy- it's almost four..
You sat up slowly.
You- really?
They were expecting you at work, by four.
You pulled up your phone, hoping to check the time, but instead saw a message from someone. You opened it, and immediately you knew who it was. Justin.
You hadn't added him to your contacts yet, that's why you hadn't known who it was from at first.
The message said:
"Hey y/n.. so.. I was wondering when we could hang out? I'm not trying to rush you.. just hope to get a day pllaned or something.."
You then added his name to the contacts, before replying.
Justin was so set on this idea. It annoyed you a bit, but you had agreed, so there was nothing you could do.
As you were typing, Jeremy sat up with you.
Jeremy- who you texting?
You looked up from your phone.
You- a guy..
You quickly shut your eyes in regret.
The last thing you wanted to do, was tell Jeremy about Justin.
Jeremy- who?
You- it doesn't matter..
You quickly typed in your reply to Justin, then shut your phone off.
Jeremy- you're not telling me the truth..
You gave him a weird look.
You- I said, it doesn't matter.. how is that not the truth?
He got up off the couch.
Jeremy- because if it didn't matter, you wouldn't have texted him back..
You- oh really?
He crossed his arms, looking down at you.
Jeremy- really..
You rolled your eyes.
You- but.. I'm allowed to talk to other people right?
He furrowed his brows.
Jeremy- what the hell? I never said, you weren't..
You- you didn't have to.. I got the message..
You stood up as well, grabbing your things.
Jeremy sighed, grabbing you by the wrist gently.
Jeremy- look I'm sorry..
You- it's okay..
He pulled your body close to his.
Jeremy- it's not..
He held his hands on your hips, pressing his body to yours.
Jeremy- I like you y/n.. and I know you have feelings back.. don't you think it's about time, to just.. let it happen..
You- let what happen?
Jeremy- us.. I've been waiting so long for you.. His words softened you some, making you think about it.
Maybe it was time to put the pat behind.
He got even closer, til your lips were almost touching.
Jeremy- what do you think..?
You rested your arms on his shoulders.
You- I think.. I think I'm ready..
You then pressed your lips to his, kissing him softly.
It took a lot of strength for you to agree this, but you trusted Jeremy, and knew that he'd never hurt you
