Chapter Thirtyseven

After a few minutes of crying, you finally stopped.
Justin was silent as well, but holding you tightly.

You- Justin, I need to go finish supper..

Justin- please just..

He kept his head rested on yours, not letting go of you.

You- the food is going to burn..

Justin- I need this.. I've missed it..

You patted on his back.

You- come help me then..

He still didn't budge.

Justin- I can't go out there like this..

You looked up at him, seeing that his eyes were puffy and red.

You- I'm sure I look the same..

He nodded, laughing a little.

Justin- swollen eyes?

You- yeah?

Justin- yeah..

He kissed your lips.

Justin- you can go honey..

He let you go.

You- are you gonna come?

Justin- I'm just gonna sit for a while..

He walked over to his bed, and laid down.

You- okay.. I'll call you when suppers done..

Justin- thank you baby..

You exited the room, re-closing the door.
As you were walking to the kitchen, you frantically wiped your eyes, trying to get rid of the crying look.
When you got to the kitchen, Erin had taken over the job of making the food.

You- oh.. I didn't know you were..

She looked at you and smiled.

Erin- no sweetie, it's fine.. I just saw that these needed finishing.. it's no problem..

You- oh.. well thanks..

You got closer, and grabbed the finished foods, and put them onto the table.

Jazmyn came running up to you.

Jazmyn- can I help?

You- ohh, sure..

You gave her a smile, and helped her set the things out.
Once the table was set, all that was waiting was the taco meat.
You sat down in a chair, while Justin's dad and brother came out of their room.
Jazmyn shyly sat next to you, swinging her feet back and forth.

You- how old are you jazmyn?

Jazmyn- seven..

She spoke proudly.

You- seven years old? wow..

She smiled.

You- do you go to school?

She nodded.

You- do you like it?

She nodded once more.

Jazmyn- do you go to school?

You- I finished my school..

Her eyes got wide.

Jazmyn- you did?

You- yes..

Jaxon went and sat next to her.
