*Next Friday*

You waited in the living room, purse in hand.
It was 1pm. and Justin was picking you up for the party.
You were confused as to why it was this early, but you were excited either way.

Within a few minutes, Justin pulled up, honking the horn.
You rushed out the door, glaring slightly at him.
Once you got into the car, you tossed your purse on the floor.

You- What was that?

He smirked, but looked at your bag.

Justin- you got your pool stuff in there?

You looked at him questioningly.

You- pool stuff?

Justin- didn't you get my text?

You shook your head, pulling your phone out of your purse.

An "ahh" escaped your mouth, as you saw the message, telling you that it was a pool party.

You- I'm sorry..

Justin- no I'm sorry.. he just told me.. like.. this morning..

You- ohh..

He nodded, then eyed the house door.

Justin- go get them.

You- uhm.. I'm not gonna swim so..

He furrowed his brows.

Justin- why not?

You- cause..

You sat still.

Justin- ahh.. I get it..

You- yeah..

Justin- do you not wanna go now..?

You- no no I do..

He tapped his fingers on the wheel.

Justin- you sureee?

You- yes..

Justin- alright..

He seemed delighted, as he pulled out of your driveway, and began to drive away from the house.

When you arrived at the party, it was already packed.

You and Justin got out of the vehicle, then went to join everyone.

There were people everywhere.

Whether they were in the pool, or walking around with beers in hand.

Someone came up to Justin, handing him one.

Justin- thanks man..

They did some sort of handshake, only making you assume they knew each other.

You just watched him, as he cracked it open.

Justin- want a sip?

You- this is illegal..

Justin- what?

He took a guzzle out of it, smacking his lips at the taste.

Justin- come on.. try a little..

You pushed it away, crossing your arms.

You- Justin..

Justin- I'm not pressuring you..

You- yes you are Justin.. we don't drink at eighteen here in America..

He frowned.

Justin- It may not be legal.. but people still do it..

You didn't say anything.

The last thing you wanted to do, was get into a fight with him.

You were trying to be less of a drama queen with him, and be kinder.

Yet, this moment had you a little frazzled.

Justin- c'mon..

He wrapped his arm around you.

Justin- don't be like that..

He tried to kiss you, but you leaned away.

Justin- ahh please..

He begged, sticking out his lips, signaling for you to kiss him.

You- not after you drink that..

You giggled.

Justin- it's just a little alcohol babe..

You looked around the party, watching everyone enjoy themselves.

You- can wr just go have fun?

Justin- of course..

He held onto your hand, dragging you around.

Justin- aye Ryan!

He called out, bringing you up to another young man.

He turned to face you two.

Justin- this is my girl, y/n..

Ryan extended out his hand.

Ryan- hey

You hook it.

You- hi..

Ryan- pleasure to meet you..

You- same..

Justin held your other hand tighter.

You ignored his act of protectiveness and looked around once more.

You- Go get some some punch..

You began to walk, but Justin wouldn't let your hand go.

You- I'll be right back.

You assured him.

Justin- promise?

You- I promise..

He released his grip, watching you walk off.
