the three of them left it on rocky terms, torn apart by the death of their best friend. one disappeared for new york, and another stayed right where he was, but stayed away from school to care for his mother.
at some point, you have to return to the place you call home. no matter how long you spend in new york, no matter how many times you're asked the question, you would always refer to the place you wish to be so badly as home.
and it came to that point. although the three of them might not be friends anymore, their minds still seemingly worked the same, as when it came to their returns, they were within the same month, weeks or days of each other.
the break might have done them good, but it still would be a lot of work to learn of each others feelings, and how to remedy the situation.
