School seemed to come soon enough, and once again Miyeon found herself slumped in her chair at the back of the room.
Jugyeong wasn't there yet, and Miyeon was still feeling rather awkward on what to do. Of course she was going to tell her that she knew, but it was just a matter of when and how.
"Today.." Mr Han began, stood up at the front of the classroom. But quite suddenly, the door burst open and Jugyeong rushed in, hurriedly bowing in apology for being late.
"Study hard guys." Mr Han continued, and was about to leave until he heard the rather confused words of the student sat. before him. "Absences is Suho.. Suho is absent today."
In an instance, Miyeon glanced over to the seat that Suho was in, shivering when she remembered the look that he had on his face when he was taking the wallet off of her.
"-So just know that." Mr Han said, before rushing out of the classroom, leaving everyone confused. Miyeon was sat too far away from people to properly engage in the questions about Mr Han's sudden disappearance, and Miyeon slumped against the desk.
Until, like usual, she was interrupted. "Hwang Miyeon." Beside her, Seojun was facing her. "What was Park Semi talking about yesterday?"
"Hm?" Miyeon didn't even bother to open her eyes, just sat up a little.
"You know, the whole 'can't say her trip to New York did her any good'?" Seojun quoted, and Miyeon finally opened her eyes, blinking at him.
"Sidestepping the girlfriend part, smart - after that comment about dating me you're lucky to be here." Miyeon rolled her eyes, before fully sitting up and turning herself towards him, crossing her legs. "I caught her bullying someone."
She was carefully to make sure her gaze didn't slide from the boy over to Jugyeong, and instead watched as a smirk. "And how did you deal with that?" He asked, tilting his head.
"You don't believe me? But you're the one who told me it was no good for me to be nice to everyone - and you didn't believe me when I said I would stand up to bullies like Soojin did. And I did, I really did." Miyeon insisted, sitting forward.
Seojun stared at her for a moment, before chuckling at her persistence and how adamant she was. "Okay fine, I believe you. So why don't you tell me what happened." He sat back in his chair as he watched her falter, glueing her eyes to a chair.
Miyeon quickly went over the situation and Seojun really did believe her - it was the type of thing that the Hwang girl would do. But something was just the tiniest bit off - something about it wasn't quite right. And he wasn't going to push her, so he just ignored it.
Later that day they had music, and the four girls sat in one of the rows, Miyeon and Sooa singing happily along. Jugyeong seemed to be lost in thought, and Soojin wasn't one for singing, but was still doing something.
A couple of lessons followed, and soon enough it was the end of the day. And Miyeon had completely forgotten to ask Jugyeong.
She had realised this quite suddenly, and quickly ran in the direction that Jugyeong had gone. "Im Ju!" She shouted, running to catch up with the girl.
Jugyeong heard her and came to a stop, looking down to the ground. If Miyeon hadn't been so preoccupied by her own thoughts, than perhaps the Hwang girl would have noticed just how much Jugyeong was avoiding her.
"How are you?" Miyeon asked, and the question was rather alarming to Jugyeong.
"Ah... I'm fine." She quickly said. "Just a little bit worried for Suho, that's all."
"Do you want to go to a cafe or something before we go to the academy? If that's okay with you?" Miyeon asked, peering round at her friend, who seemed to be avoiding eye contact. "I have a spare change of clothes if you're okay with me changing at yours?"
Despite having not noticed all day, Miyeon could now see just how awkward Jugyeong was feeling around her. More like cautious - nervous that she had somehow found out.
And Miyeon had, but she didn't want this to be how Jugyeong found out she knew. It should be somewhere more private, where they could have the privacy they needed.
So Miyeon had decided in a cafe, somewhere the both of them had been before - where Gowoon had gone with them. "I was thinking of that cafe we went to the other day - I really liked the drinks there." Miyeon added, and it looked like Jugyeong was hesitating.
"Yeah.. that's a good idea." She nodded, and with a smile, Miyeon linking their arms as they walked onwards, heading to the Im girl's house.
She didn't want to treat Jugyeong any different, that was her aim. To Miyeon, the girl stood beside her and the girl she saw at the weekend were the exact same.
And truly, Miyeon just wanted Jugyeong to know that she was there for her, no matter what she looked like. Because that didn't matter.
Not to Miyeon at least.
