Miyeon spent the next day in the area that she knew Jugyeong would be in where the date happened. She had dressed appropriately - nothing like what Suho was wearing.

She had picked a black skirt that had white lines checkered across it, a blouse tucked into that skirt covered with a black sweater vest. She wore a black corduroy jacket over that, and had her usual long white socks and platform trainers, which would put her a good couple inches taller than she usually was.

In her bag she had all her usual stuff, as well as a black mask and her hat. She had absolutely no idea how Suho was going to get through his competition so quickly, and she milled around the area, looking in shop windows.

Her phone finally vibrated; a message from Jugyeong telling her that they were on their way to the cinema. She would have to wait outside anyway, and so the Hwang girl quickly made her way over there, standing against a wall, hat pulled low over her face.

She glanced upwards every time a couple went by, and finally she saw Jugyeong - who looked very pretty in her outfit - and the college guy. They made eye contact, Miyeon smiling slightly as they passed, careful not to attract any attention.

She would go in after them, she had told Jugyeong her plan over text earlier that morning, then she would go and sit near the back and leave before them, waiting around the corner for Jugyeong to come out.

This also helped her meet up with Suho, who was hopefully on his way. She waited a few more minutes, and finally, he showed up. "You must've raced through that test. Now quick, you need to keep a closer eye on them seeing as I'm supposed to be sitting near the back. I got tickets for it when I first walked by earlier so here's yours. Go get yourself some popcorn, it'll be easier to hide your face."

Suho actually seemed to be listening to her and nodded, pulling his hat down over his face further and taking the tickets, disappearing into the building.

A couple of moments later and Miyeon followed him in, taking a little bit of time picking out a few snacks before making her way into the movie.

Suho glanced up at her as she passed, but other than that they didn't acknowledge each other, Miyeon sitting at seats closer to the door.

It soon began, and Miyeon was actually quite glad that they had chosen to come see a movie - watching them in a restaurant would be far too boring and this way she could actually enjoy herself at the same time.

But, halfway through, it became obvious that Suho wasn't going to stick to the plan exactly, and Miyeon watched in horror as he got up and interrupted another couple - which wasn't Jugyeong and the college boy.

Sinking into her chair, embarrassed, Miyeon pretended she had absolutely no idea who that was, especially as Suho dived out of the way to avoid Jugyeong's gaze.

Both Miyeon and Suho left as soon as the lights turned on, the girl leading the pair out of the cinema. "You couldn't just stick to the plan! There was absolutely no way that anything like that would've happened on Jugyeong's first date with the guy. Now you ruined someone else's date." She said, voice raised.

Suho glanced around, looking nervous. "You wait here and listen to their final conversation - tell me if anything funny happens. I need to get to the place I agreed to meet Jugyeong." Miyeon glanced around, peering into the building and seeing Jugyeong approach the doors.

"Shit." She murmured under her breath. "Quick, move." She said, dashing off and leaving Suho to hide behind something.

Jugyeong appeared around the corner minutes later, smiling when Miyeon appeared, pulling her hat off and sorting her hair in the reflection of a window.

"So how was it?" Miyeon asked, linking arms with Jugyeong. "I'll walk you home." She said with a smile.

Jugyeong nodded, telling Miyeon all about her date whilst simultaneously telling the groupchat, that they were in with Sooa and Soojin - and whilst she was doing so, she got a text from him.

"Oh! What does it say?" Miyeon asked, peering over. "Did you get home okay? I miss you already." She read, meeting Jugyeong's eyes with a smile. "So I didn't need to worry after all."

They had reached Jugyeong's house, and the pair began walking to the door, Miyeon seemingly going to spend some time there before returning to her own house.

But then her phone rang, and glancing down at it she saw it was Suho. She didn't expect him to say anything much, but she still excused herself and remained outside whilst Jugyeong went in, and she would follow her in later.

"Hey." Miyeon answered the phone, leaning against the wall. "It seems like we had nothing to worry about. He's asked her to meet up again and he already misses her. Doesn't seem like a jerk at-"

"He already has a girlfriend" Suho interrupted her and Miyeon froze.

"What? Are you sure?" Miyeon asked. "How do you know? What happened after Jugyeong left?"

"Another girl turned up. And it wasn't just a date, it was a girlfriend. But don't worry. I'll take care of it. Don't tell her." Suho said.

And with that, he hung up.

And with that, he hung up
