I remember when I was a kid, chasing her around the greenhouse filled with blossoming flowerbeds, birds calling softly, and the sounds of insects.
The sun shimmered onto the marble-like glossy stepping stones that were laid out on the path our feet were traveling on.
I remember her soft giggles followed by my cries out to her.
"I'm going to get you, you can run forever!"
"Catch me if you can!"
She'd taken twists and turns in attempts to lose me, but I was always right behind her.
We were young kids, not even ten years of age. We were always together, never separate.
I remember the way her long dark hair flopped behind her as she ran from me. Even if I lost her in the greenery, her hair stood out.
A smile raises to my face as I remember the way I tagged her, laughing all the while.
"Tag, you're it!"
"Now you run!"
She'd chase me then, little giggles escaping as we both ran through the mazes of flowers and birdbaths.
We were just kids. Nothing more, nothing less.
I smile at the sense of nostalgia as I'm sitting on a bench in the very greenhouse we played tag in that day.
It wasn't as lively, and looked more grim compared to all those years ago. The tiles were broken, cracked in two. Some of the birdbaths were eroded.
A tear slips from my eyes as I remember her bright smile.
"Oh y/n, my dear sister. How I miss you so much more as the days go by."
Yes, the beautiful young girl I'd always play tag with, was my sister. But one day she got badly sick and couldn't overcome it.
I remember, her last wish was to visit the greenhouse before she passed. As so she passed on the very bench I'm sitting on.
The greenhouse was always her favorite place to go. It was her safe place, he get away. If she needed somewhere to go so she could think clearly, she came here.
I stand up and walk to the door of the greenhouse. Before I open it, I turn around and look up at the top of the building. There it was, glass colored with our names in it.

I hope you all like this. I wrote it while listening to "Tag, You're It" by Melanie Martinez. It's a good song, I recommend it.
