Happy Halloween my lovely readers! I understand that the virus is really limiting Halloween this year, which is sad. But you can enjoy your time with Ateez. ❤

I pull the costume over my head. This year I'm going as a ladybug. I flatten out all the wrinkles that popped up. Looking in the mirror, I brush out my curly black hair and pull it up into a high ponytail.

Once I finish, I grab my bag with all my personals in it and head out the door. I open the bag and grab my phone, texting my friends to let them know I'm ready.

After some time of waiting, two cars arrive at my house. The door opens and out steps Seonghwa, dressed in a penguin suit. I chuckle and run over to him, jumping into his arms. We've been best friends since diapers, and he introduced me to his group - Ateez - who I became good friends with as well.

I open the Back Door(Stray Kids in the building) to the car and climb in. As I fasten my seatbelt, I turn to see Hongjoong in a minion suit, Yunho in a puppy suit, and Yeosang in a(you guessed it) fried chicken suit. The boys all greet me which makes me smile and greet them back.

After about an hour of riding in the car jamming out to music, we finally reach the spot that we agreed on. We all get out of the cars. I look over at the other boys and see San in a cat outfit, Mingi in a vampire outfit, Wooyoung in a snowman suit, and Jongho in a bear suit.

I can't help but to bust out laughing as Wooyoung waddles over in his suit with outstretched arms.

"Hi I'm Olaf and I like warm hugs!" he chimes. I laugh more, grabbing my stomach as it starts hurting. Then, only to make it worse, Yunho starts chasing San around barking while San screams like a cat.

Oh how did I ever get stuck with these eight crackheads? I swear, they'll be the death of me. Hongjoong speaks up drawing everyone's attention.

"Alright calm down. If we want to go in, you'll have to calm down and stop acting like children." he announces. All the boys stop what they're doing and my laughter finally fades off. Once everyone's calm, Hongjoong opens the door. Loud music booms out of the building, people dancing inside. Though it's not a lot of people, maybe nine or ten.

We all walk inside the building. Some start dancing, some run off, and some go to the refreshments table. I'm lost, not knowing where to go. I walk around slowly, moving my head To The Beat(ayye) of the music. After some time, someone bumps into me.

"Oh, I'm sorry!" a small voice calls. I look down and see a little girl, maybe around seven or eight years old. A smile plays on my face as I notice her Elsa outfit. I kneel down to her level and reach my hand out to her.

"It's alright my queen, may I ask. Did you lose your Olaf?" I ask. He face brightens up. "Yes, yes! I don't have my Olaf with me!"

"Well milady, may you walk with me? I have a surprise for you." I offer her my hand. She doesn't hesitate and links her fingers with mine. I look around until I find Wooyoung at the refreshments table now. I pull the little girl along with me.

"Wooyoung!" I call out, grabbing the boys attention. His eyes trail down to the girl holding my hand, then walks over to us.

"Elsa, my queen! I've been looking all over for you!" he cries out. The little girl starts jumping up and down then runs up to him, hugging him.

"Olaf!" she says excitedly. Wooyoung smiles brightly and hugs her back. The two of them play around and sing together for quite some time. I watch them playing until someone taps my shoulder. I turn around to see Hongjoong. I smile.

"Ah the Korean big minion decides to visit me. How are you?" I ask, poking his shoulder. He laughs at the nickname. "Ah, just come to check the same for you actually. It's been a month since we last talked." he says.

I sigh, remembering all the hardships I went through, denying me spending time with my friends.

"I know. School is just rough. College is horrible you know, but I'm determined. I can't give up. I promised my great grandma this." I say, remembering her last wish.

The kind of person I am, I try my best to keep every promise I make. My great grandma wanted me to finish college and graduate law school. So far, so good. But I just keeps getting harder as the days go by. I didn't expect it to be easy though, and take the challenge head on.

The boy beside me hums in understanding. He's always been supportive of me. Anything I need that he can help with, he's there. That's how it's always been. He's like a brother to me.

"Thank you for inviting me to the party Joongie." I say as I turn to face him. He smiles. "Anything for Ateez's princess. You're the treasure we're chasing after all." he says. My cheeks flush red. I didn't expect that from him.

"What do you mean?" I ask, confused. The boy smiles.

"The treasure. The one that we've hidden away from the public eye. The beautiful thing that we chase every day but only seem to touch in our dreams. But sometimes, you have to learn that treasure is meant to be hidden for a reason."

"You're so beautiful, our y/n. Any wrong touch and that beauty could be ruined, so we just admire you from afar. We chase after you to make sure you're safe, and make sure you pursue your dreams." he says, moving a strand of hair out of my eyes. His words are very touching. Though they confuse me a bit, I get his point in the end.

Not everything is meant to be boxed up and hidden. Some things are meant to fly.

~ Time skip to the end of the night. ~

After the party ends, we all gather together for a group photo. It's all of Ateez gathered around with me in the middle, them reaching their arms out to me but not quite touching me.

Once the picture is taken, they post it to their official Twitter with the caption:

"If you truly treasure something, don't hide it away. Let it shine, share it with the world. Let it fly free."

Happy Halloween all you beautiful people. I hope you have a wonderful day with your friends and/or family!

And always remember, you're beautiful. Don't hide yourself away from others. Don't be afraid  to let yourself shine. Whether you know it or not, you're someone's treasure.

You're born to stand out and shine, not to be hidden away. ❤
