Two nights of no sleep. It's really taking it's toll on you. Your eyes are really heavy and you just know that there are black circles under them. The bright side? You are just about finished with your schoolwork.

You've been out of school for a few days, and they sent the work you missed to your house. You took a break from school because of the stress it put on you, but it still doesn't end.

You let out a loud sigh and lay your head down on your work desk. Just as you close your eyes, you're scared awake by your window opening and someone jumping through it onto your room floor.

It takes you a moment to realize who it is. Once you do however, you relax. It's your best friend that lives on the other side of town, Hongjoong. He smiles at you until he notices the state you're in.

"Oh my.. Y/n when is the last time you had any sleep? You look terrible." he asked, placing his had on your cheek. You smile weakly. "Don't worry about it. I'm finally done with the school work." you said.

He sighs. "Just like you.. You always see the best in everything. You know you're amazing. Now you need to get some rest. I come over to check on you. You haven't been in school in a while. You didn't return my phone calls or view my text messages. I got worried." he said.

He helps you out of your chair and lays you in your bed. He lays next to you and wraps his arms around you. You curl up close to him, laying your head on his chest. He's always there for you. No matter what the situation is, you know you can trust him.

He's just simply always with you. He made a promise to always be with you. And you made a promise to always be with him.

You breath out softly and wrap your arms around him. You close your eyes and slowly drift off to sleep.

Hongjoong P.O.V

Once I hear her breathing calm down, I know that she's asleep. I smile and kiss her head. My heart beats rapidly for her.

I truly love her. I just don't know how to tell her. I don't know if I ever will be able to tell her.

Our friendship is purely amazing. What if she doesn't love me back? What if I ruin the trust she has for me?
What if she starts to see me differently?
All of these things scare me. I just simply can't tell her.

Yes, I love her. But I just want her happy. And if I have to remain her friend for all time for her to be happy, I'm perfectly fine with it. As long as she is happy.
