They say true love only happens once in your life.

So far I can approve of this. Hongjoong, my one and only true love, broke up with me some years ago and I have yet to even have a crush on anyone else.

It still devastates me to this day. How could I have been so childish? I knew he was busy all the time, yet I was still jealous for all the couples around us.

Other couples were constantly together. They wore matching outfits, had matching phone cases, and were always clinging to each other.

Hongjoong was my first ever boyfriend and I was new to love, so of course I was bound to screw it up sometimes. I was young. I was excited. I didn't know what to expect.

But now I understand that a relationship is more than just being together and acting cute with each other. I wish I had just one more chance to talk to Hongjoong.

I'd tell him that I understand that I screwed things up now. I'd let him know how much I loved him - and still do. I'd apologize to him for being so childish, so impatient, and so expectant.

Unfortunately though, I'll never get the chance. He's already married and has kids. He's become extremely successful. If only I had been more understanding.

They say true love only happens once. I say that when it happens, treasure it. If you really love them, wait for them. If you love them, support them. No matter how long it may take.

Don't screw it up over some childish reason. True love only happens once.
