Chapter 17 - bitches broken hearts

I was sitting outside trying to control my mind and my breathing, I was freaking out over this. If I took too long they would come look for me, probably Gray and I don't know if I can see him right now.

I went into the room to get changed, we were supposed to leave on a bit to the cliff diving spot.

I put on a swimming suit that I was sure would not come off if I actually ended up jumping, which was unlikely.

I also sat in the bed for a bit just going through my phone answering some texts and went on instagram

I was tagged in a million things about Gray and I, apparently E had out the clip where he woke up Grayson and I just before in his story, as a teaser for the video

I decided to delete the app off my phone, for the time being, didn't have the energy to deal with that for now

"(Y/n) are you ready to leave?" Gray startled me "oh sorry"

"No problem Gray, let's go" I smiled and walked in his direction.

"You look really cute" he said when I passed him which made me blush like crazy and I just thanked him lightly, for the compliment and for holding the door of the room for me.

Why are gentleman manners so fucking attractive?

"E HURRY UP" Gray yelled

Kristina saw us appear together in the living room area and raised her eyebrows and gave me a little smile and I rolled my eyes at her

Kyle and Kayla were holding hands while sitting in the couch, and shared a rather long kiss, almost too in appropriate to do in front of us and kinda painful to me

At least I feel something that isn't desire for Gray... Maybe I'm just doing my best to get over him

Gray put his arm around my shoulders and started talking about the last time they went swimming at night and some crazy things that happened, probably to distract me from Kyle

Finally we left the house, we went on the van to the cliff diving spot, Gray actually sat far away from me, probably not on purpose since we were just trying to hurry to get there, but it felt weird

He would always sit next to me at the table, in the car and wherever else we went. I was overthinking it

Probably cause I was next to kyle and that was bothering me too. I just decided to stay quiet and look out the window

"We're here guys!" The boys were so excited. Before I could, Gray opened the heavy van door and helped me hop off

"The way there is kinda dangerous" he pointed his phone flash at the path "as you can see it's rocks, it gets slippery and it's very irregular so your clumsy ass needs to be close to mine, so I can catch you if you fall" he mocked

"How sweet of you" I chuckled

I took one step and lost Ballance immediately, thanks to all the ups and downs and slippery bits. I decided to grab his arm and he have me a "I told you so" look which made me roll my eyes

We made our way slowly, with me having to focus not to think about how good it felt to be close to him

His skin was so soft and warm under my fingers, his heavy breathing was also not helping my thoughts remain clear

"Here we are!" E yelled scaring me

They pointed the flashlights at the water but I couldn't see, I was too scared to get close to the edge

Gray pretended to trip and fall to scare me but it didn't work since I had seen him do it already. It was a bit scary tho

They went a couple times while kris and I stood there cheering them. Kyle was focused on getting the best shots and Kayla was jumping aswell, she's from here so she's used to it.
