"Ah Hello Jude welcome back to class, it's good to see you up on your feet again." Neville says as I enter the greenhouse.

"It's good to be back on my feet Mr. Longbottom." I reply with a smile.

"Jude! Come sit here!" Rue shouts as she motions towards a seat next to her. I gladly take the seat and happily take in the atmosphere of being able to sit with all my friends.

Jasper, Rue, Calum, and I all getting along. It felt good.

The only thing that was off these past few days was Teddy. His hair was still black, he seemed on edge around me at all times, and he never stuck around long enough for me to ask him what was up.

As my mind wanders I'm brought back to reality when I feel a piece of parchment slide underneath me hand. I turn slightly towards Rue who is playing aloof and pretending to listen to her father's lesson. I look down at the note.

I can tell you are still worried about Edward. I am too, he has been quite off lately....

I quickly write out a reply and slide it slowly back to her.

I don't know if I did something wrong? He has never acted like this before. I can't ever get him alone to talk to him. What should we do?

I watch her read it but she takes a moment to think. time passes and I soon forget about the note passing. I'm actually enjoying Neville's lecture on illegal Herbs when I feel a note being placed in my hand again. I glance down to see Rue's hand in mine, it lingers there for a moment and I'm brought back to the moment I woke up in the hospital wing.

Her hand in mine feels right but just as I was enjoying the comfort of her skin touching mine she pulls her hand away leaving the note behind.

Meet me after classes. I might have a theory on why Eddy is acting this way.

.....

"Oi Jude!"

I turn around in the corridor to see Deanne jogging towards me.

"Hey Dee, how was your trip?" I ask with a smile.

"My trip!?!" She shouts as she grabs my shoulders and shakes my whole body aggressively.

"Yeah? Was it bad? What's wrong?" I question.

Deanne let's her hands drop to her sides as if they are cooked spaghetti noodles.

"Dee? Wood? You still there?"

"Jude you won against Slytherin! You saved every Quaffle, you saved your teammate, you fell to your doom, and we won!" She shouts excitedly.

"Uhm? Yeah?"

She begins pacing and using her hands to convey her thoughts.

"Jude Hellenberg, where have you been? This makes it official. Next year you are officially training to be captain after I graduate!" She announces with a smile plastered across her face.

"Dee, I'm sorry, I'm not even sure if I want to play next year. Thanks for the offer, can I have some time to think about it?" I reply.

The smile slowly fades from her face as I walk past her. She mumbles a few things but isn't able to reply to me with anything considered English, so I keep walking. Rue was waiting for me and I didn't want to keep her waiting.

I finally find the spot by the lake Rue told me to meet her at. I see she is sitting and reading, waiting for me to arrive.

"What took you so long?" She questions without even turning around or looking up to see if it's me. I continue towards her and sit down on the grass next to her.

"Deanne was offering me her captain position after she graduates." I reply nonchalantly.

"What!?!?" She exclaims looking up from her ready and punching my arm playfully.

"Yeah but I don't even know if I want to do it, I mean I love quidditch but I don't love it that much. I would rather focus on my studies, next year we get to add more studies and I'm honestly more excited about that than I was to hear about being quidditch captain." I explain.

I lean back and lay on the grass, the sun is covered by the leaves still left on the trees. The bitter cold wind makes the sun leak in through gaps in the leaves. As I listen to them dance I don't notice the rustling coming from footsteps behind me.

"Oh now you are too good for quidditch?" Teddy exclaims from behind me.

I tilt my head backwards to see an upside down Edward Lupin standing above me. I quickly turn over and stand to face him.

"That's not what I meant, but.... I-" I stutter.

"Eddy. Stop playing daft." Rue says bluntly. Both me and Teddy turn towards her in surprise.

"What?" He asks.

"Yeah what?" I add.

"Weasley." Rue replies in her blunt voice again. She crosses her arms and stares Teddy right in the eyes. I'm more confused than ever but when I look at Teddy again it seems the name struck a nerve. His cheeks have turned a bright shade of pink and he is at a loss for words.

"That's what I thought. Jude has no interest, so you can stop being a jealous prat and mend your friendship okay? And about Weasley, I can't be for sure, but I think it's the same." She continues.

Then she grabs her books and walks away like nothing ever happened.

"What was that about?" I question.

"Nothing. Sorry I wasn't there for you mate, I was upset about something and I shouldn't have taken it out on you. You or Calum to be honest." Teddy says as he looks at me nervously. His hair turns the pleasant shade of blue I enjoy so much again. Again we are left smiling at each other and all is easily forgiven.

we sit and talk about quidditch and studies for a straight hour.

"Teddy, there is something else I need to talk about." I finally say.

"What is it mate?" He asks.

"Before I woke up I heard Rue and her Father talking about a secret she has. A secret he told her to tell me." I explain.

"And what is it?" He asks.

"I don't know.... she hasn't told me yet, but it had something to do with my fall... and possibly preventing it. The night before the game she told me not to play, like she knew something was going to happen. Then I saw Calum playing. I wondered for a bit about the possibility of her knowing their dirty play but I don't think that was it. The Slytherin captain knows how close we are and there is no way they would let their plays slip, as for Calum, it seems he's fine enough to prove he had nothing to do with what happened. So I'm just left confused." I explain.

"Hmm... this was after she had her seizure? Do you ever wonder if-"

"If they aren't seizures? Not until Calum brought up his mom's, and how they weren't even remotely similar. Teddy look, you are my best mate, you can't tell anyone about this okay?" I reply.

"Of course! Well then if we are telling secrets I think it's best I told you one." Teddy adds.

"Oh no, Ted you don't have-"

"I'm in love with Victoire Weasley!" Teddy exclaims loudly.
