me and vinnie arrive at the small restaurant downtown. i can see jordan and, i'm assuming, his girlfriend, maddy.
i get off the car and so does vinnie, he walks over to me and grabs my hand.
he holds it in his.
we walk in, i follow vinnie as he walks to jordan's table.
"hey" vinnie waves at jordan and his girlfriend. "hi" i say right after him doing the same.
we sit down across from them.
"hey, so this is maddy" jordan introduces us to maddy. "hi" i give a small wave and smile to her.
she smiles and waves back, "nice to meet you both" she says to us. "so how did the skating go since earlier?" jordan asks vinnie.
"it's was nice, i taught kyra the basics" he laughs. "it wasn't as hard as i thought, it was really fun" i tell jordan.
"next you need to learn some tricks and you can be a pro like vinnie" he tells me, "yea hopefully" i reply. we all laugh.
the waitress comes up to us, "are all of you ready to order?" she asks. jordan looks at me and vinnie, we nod our heads in yes, "we're ready" he tells her.
"ok what would you like" she asks jordan first, "a burger and some fries" he answers, she looks at maddy for her to answer next, "salad please" she says.
she then looks at vinnie and me, "uhm id take a burger" vinnie says, "i'll take the same" i tell her.
she finishes writing down our orders then grabs our menus, "your food will be out shortly" she smiles before leaving.
"so why are y'all in this town?" maddy asks me and vinnie.
"well we're traveling, we're gonna leave soon but came here for fun" i try to make it sound like the truth.
"that's really cool, so you just travel together?" she questions, "yea basically" i reply.
"when do you plan on leaving?" jordan asks vinnie, "we'll probably leave tomorrow" vinnie tells jordan.
"oh, well good thing your spending your last night with us" he tells me and vinnie.
"yea" vinnie replies, "i'm gonna go to the bathroom" vinnie says, he gets up and leaves.
he looked like he was starting to get anxious. i hope he took his meds today, i'm pretty sure he did, he won't act out.
"is he ok?" jordan asked. "yea he's fine, he gets anxious sometimes, symptoms from his meds" i tell him.
"oh makes sense" jordan replies.
vinnie comes back, "hey sorry" vinnie tells us, "it's fine" i smile.
he grabs my hand on the table, he was calm.
"so what'd y'all talk about while i was gone?" he laughed, "nothing really" maddy says and laughs as well.
the waitress comes up and gives us our food, "anything else" she asks before she leaves, "no thank you" i tell her.
she smiles and walks away.
we all eat and enjoy our food. after we're all done vinnie pays for me and him and jordan pays for maddy and him.
we leave a tip and all get up.
we walk outside.
"tonight was fun" jordan tells us, "y'all should come back soon so we can hang out again" he tells vinnie, "we'll come back one day" he tells jordan.
"well goodbye then" he gives vinnie a hug then me a hug, "bye" me and vinnie reply, "see you" maddy tells me, i wave and me and vinnie walk to our car.
"gonna miss him, wish i could tell him, but i can't risk it" vinnie tells me. "it's ok" i grab his hand.
"what happened when you went to the bathroom, you looked very anxious" i ask vinnie.
"it was nothing" he says, "are you sure vinnie please be honest".
he pauses and stares down, "i don't want to tell you, you'll doubt me, and won't trust me" he says still looking down.
"vinnie we only have each other, i trust you, and i won't stop trusting you" i tell him.
"i took my meds today, they weren't helping as much, don't worry ok, nothing will happen, i won't do anything to hurt you" he looks at me and tries not to worry me.
how do i know for sure he won't though, "please trust me" he grabs my chin.
i pause and stare at him, i look into his eyes, for some reason, i just know he will never hurt me, "i trust you vinnie" i say, staring back into his eyes.
"your the only thing in life, keeping me happy, and not going crazy", he leans in and kisses me passionately, "thank you" he pulls back.
he turns away from me and starts the car, he grabs my hand and starts driving.
he drives to the motel, he parks in front of the room. we get off and go inside.
i take my shoes off, "wear this to sleep" he throws me one of his shirts, "why?" i ask.
"you'll look cute in it" he laughs, "cringe couple shit can sometimes be fun" he smirks.
i take my clothes off in front of him and change into his shirt, he stares at me the whole time.
"look good?" i ask, "yea" he replies staring at me. i go sit next to him, he turns to me and starts to kiss me, i kiss him back.
i adjust myself onto his lap, he moves his hands up shirt, he starts to pull it up, "vinnie, we can't do this now we have to leave tomorrow" i tell him.
"fine but just wait for next time" he smirks. i roll my eye and lay down next to him.
i cuddle into his arms, "goodnight love" he kisses my forehead. "goodnight vinnie i reply" i smile at the thought of his goodnight kiss as i fall asleep.

the next morning comes, i wake up in vinnies arms once again. "good morning beautiful" vinnie says to me.
i turn to him, "oh so your awake early" i tell him. "yea i am" he laughs.
"we need to get ready so we can go" he tells me, "yea" i agree.
i get up and go to the bathroom, i take a shower and get ready. after im done i put my shoes on and wait for vinnie, "i'm surprised i'm done first" i laugh, "shutup, it can take me a while too" he laughs.
i gather my clothes together while waiting for him, i go to the car to put everything in there, i walk back into the room, "ready?" vinnie asks as i walk back in, "yea" i reply.
"ok well we should go" he tells me. we walk out of the room and sit in the car, i look at the motel, im always gonna miss this, the first place me and vinnie stayed in.
vinnie drives to the front to return the motel key, after he comes back into the car.
i put my feet up, in the car.
"where are we off to next?" i ask vinnie.
"wherever our life takes us" he smiles and drives off.
