Birth of Imam Hussain ibn Ali (as) {626} [ L12 ]

Husayn was born on 10 January AD 626 .Husayn and his brother Hasan were reportedly the last male descendants of Muhammad living during his lifetime and remaining after his death. There are many accounts of his love for them which refer to them together.Muhammad (saw) is reported to have said that "He who loves me and loves these two, their father and their mother, will be with me at my place on the Day of Resurrection and that "Husayn is of me and I am of him. Allah loves those who love Husayn. Husayn is a grandson among grandsons."A narration declares Hasan and Husayn as the "Masters of the Youth of Paradise". The theologians have defined the Imamate, saying: "Surely the Imamate is a grace from Allah, Who grants it to the most perfect and best of His servants to Him" .Other traditions record Muhammad with his grandsons on his knees, on his shoulders, and even on his back when they were young during his prayer at the moment of prostrating himself.

<<When Prophet Muhammad (saw) saw Hassan (as) & Hussain (as) , so he said : " O ALLAH , I love them , so love them ". >>

<< Anas bin Malik (may ALLAH be pleased with him ) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (saw) was asked : " which of the people of your house are most beloved to you ? He said ' Al-Hasan and Al-Hussain." & he used to say to Fatima (sa) " call my two sons for me ." & he would smell them & hug them .>>

<< The prophet Muhammad (saw) took Hassan & Hussain by hand & said : ' whoever loves me & loves these two & their father & mother , he shall be with me in my level on the day of judgment ". >>

<<Prophet Muhammad (saw) said : "Al-Hassan & Al- Hussain are the leaders of the youth of Paradise & they are my two fragrant flowers in the world ".>>

<< Abu Buraidah ( may ALLAH be pleased with him ) narrates :
The messenger of ALLAH (pbuh) was delivering a khutbah to us when Al-Hasan & Al-Hussain came , wearing the red shirts , walking & falling down . So the prophet Muhammad (saw) descended from the minbar & carried them & placed them in front of him . Then he said: " ALLAH spoke the truth : Indeed your wealth & your children are a trial . I looked at these two children walking & falling down & I could not bear patiently anymore until I interrupted my talk & picked them up . ">>

<< Prophet Muhammad (saw) said : " Hussain is from me & I am from Hussain . May ALLAH love those who love Hussain (as) " . >>

Our Prophet Muhammad (saw) used to kiss Al-Hassan's lips & Al-Hussain neck , as he already knew about the way of their Martyrdom .

According to Wilferd Madelung, Muhammad loved them and declared them as people of his Bayt very frequently.He has also said: "Every mother's children are associated with their father except for the children of Fatima for I am their father and lineage." Thus, the descendants of Fatimah were descendants of Muhammad, and part of his Bayt.
