Too bad this morning was school, I would have killed someone for a few more hours in bed, lying there, I laughed at my thoughts, my sister actually killed somebody and now I wanted to kill, how ironic or was it just poor choice of words . I practically slid myself out of bed because it's like my body lost its will to move properly on my accord At that same moment, my sister came in and looked at me as if I was insane, because while sliding out of bed the sheets got caught between my feet. "Jess, are you okay to go to school today?", my sister asked me with concern in her voice, but this was the last thing she should be concerned about, "Just get me outta here", I pleaded with her, and she complied.

We stayed for breakfast because we finally got to see our mum in a long before leaving in the morning, she was in her scrubs, which you could still see a tiny droplet of blood on, guess she had a late or early surgery, I didn't say anything though, she looked like she was ready to drop. On our last bite of food, my mum told us to have a good day and to study hard, and as soon as we left I saw let out a breath then she started to take off here scrubs. I think she just put in enough effort to eat breakfast with us, and see us off, since she hardly ever got those opportunities.

The drive to school was quiet, I kept looking over to my sister, who was concentrating on the road, but still saw me through her peripheral vision, "you know we look a lot like each other, you can just look in the mirror, she laughed at her attempt at making it sound funny, "sorry", I apologized", and I turned forward.

Maddie let me out at the entrance and said she would meet me inside once she parked the car, I nodded to her and closed the door, and jogged up the lengthy stairs that led me to the quad of the campus. We had a chemistry lab this morning which meant we had to go to different section of the campus just to get to the lab, I internally groaned, I hated that part of campus, well the path to get to that side particularly, it was a little dark and the light always flickered. I dropped my bookbag on my desk in class and took up my lab book and pencil case. I hadn't met any of my friends yet, so I texted in the group chat telling them that I was headed to the lab, so they would know where I was if they didn't see me.

"I really hate this", I said to myself as I walked carefully through the semi dark hallway when an arm grabbed me, and I screamed, with my books and pencil case falling to the floor, "Shh, jeez Jess chill", the voice reassured me as they put a hand over my mouth. "Kaleb?", I said squinting my eyes, because where we were didn't really have much light just like the hallway, "the one and only", he playfully said. "Boy, I told you about sneaking up on me like that didn't I?", and he just laughed, "I missed you at the restaurant when you made me fall, and don't say it wasn't you cuz I saw you and I could always tell you apart from your sister from the way you walk, or run for that matter, and your body, yours is more curvy", he said leading his hands down my back and to my ass". I felt chills, I had a boyfriend, and I felt chills running down my spine when Kaleb touched me. I lashed his hands away, looking into his eyes, and he continued to talk "why were you there?", he asked as he cocked his head to one side, "to eat", I deadpanned, and he laughed, he always laughs when I answer his question, like it was always funny to him, "no why were you really there?", he asked again exaggerating on the really, "I told you, I went to eat, I heard the food was good, so I went to check it out", I lied. "The food's not that good there", he responded quickly and he looked at me again, "or were you there to see me", I scoffed, "I was there before you, and how would I know you were even gonna be there?", he raised his hand in defeat and backed away from me a little.

He took his phone from his pocket, and turned on the flashlight, placed it on a nearby table and leaned on another table with his arms crossed over his chest. He looked at me and kept looking at me not even tearing his sight away from me, I also looked straight at him, thinking if it was wise to ask him what there was on the second level of Frisky's, if I did he would nag me and ask me questions, and would make it and excuse to talk me when it wasn't necessary.
