Time Of Our Lives (Dance Moms Fic)

Chapter 22: Nationals 2012

The next morning in Beverly Hills aka 90210, Abby, Dominic, Gianna, the girls and moms were all walking down a street and seconds later, they arrived at the Saban Theater, which was where Nationals was going to be held at.

"Do not even associate with Cathy and her moron apples. Just ignore her and pretend she isn't there." Dominic instructed the girls.

"Got the memo." Chloe said.

"Clear." Maddie stated.

They all entered the theater and Abby got them checked in and once that was done, they arrived at the dressing room and entered, then Maddie, Mackenzie, Brooke and Chloe began to get ready for their solos.

"Girls!" Abby clapped as everybody looked at her. "This is Nationals! You've worked all year long to get to this point, every day you have been in the studio rehearsing and every weekend that we've either flown, rode the bus or in the cases that the competition is in the Chicagoland area, which is our home, drove to a competition that led up to this point today."

"What you do on that stage could change the remainder of your life." Dominic stated. "Maddie you'll be going first and Chloe, we'll have to get you ready because we have to do some psyching out with Justice aka Carrot Top's secret kid."

Outside of the theater, Cathy, Vivi, Mitchell, the Candy Apples and their moms were all arriving at the door before they stopped.

"This is it, we are here at Nationals and when this is all said and done, we'll be heading back home to Canton as it will be the end of the season, so let's end it with a National Title and send Abby and her crew back home to Chicago with their tails between their legs." Cathy told them, then once they entered and got checked in, they went to the ALDC's dressing room door and started a "C-A-D-C" chant.

Back in the ALDC's dressing doom, everybody heard the chant.

"No surprise that Cathy's morons are trying to intimidate us." Brooke stated.

"They're only making fools of themselves." Paige said.

"Big time idiots." Nia added.

"How those dancers put up with Cathy is a big time mystery." Dominic muttered. "I'd be mortified if mom ever did that."

"Yeah." Abby admitted, then she signaled for Maddie and Chloe to approach her. "Maddie, Chloe, find Justice, get in his face and do a right turn."

"Like this?" Maddie and Chloe did a right turn.

"Just like that." Dominic stated and the stagehand called for Maddie and Chloe, who headed to the wings of the stage while Abby, Dominic, Gianna, Brooke, Paige, Nia, Mackenzie and the moms headed to the audience with the Candy Apples sitting behind them and in the wings, Maddie and Chloe did a turn which intimidated Justice.

"Welcome to the stage, Justice with Never Surrender!" Justice walked on to the stage in camouflage pants, then he began his dance and it was good even though it had flaws at one point, then he posed and left the stage.

"Snoozeville." Dominic commented.

"You can say that again." Abby agreed.

"If that wins, something is wrong." Gianna said.

"Next, Maddie with Telling Myself!" Maddie walked on to the stage and stood in her spot, then the music began playing and she began her dancing. Maddie danced like her life depended on it and at the end, she posed and left the stage.

"Judges, coming to the stage is Silence!" Chloe came on to the stage to do her solo and she was in her starting pose. Once the music began, Chloe started her dance and she was dancing like there was no tomorrow from start to finish and at the end, she posed and headed off stage as everybody went backstage and coming in was Abby and Dominic.
