It was December 20th, which was five days prior to Christmas and four prior to Christmas Eve and at Abby's condo, Abby, Maryen and Dominic were looking at the christmas tree, which was white and about to be decorated while Broadway Baby was looking at the tree as well and the condo was decorated with christmas accessories and on the table were christmas cookies that were freshly baked and next to the tree were boxes.
"The tree looks good, but it's gonna look even better when we start decorating it." Dominic commented.
"Correct and as soon as Gianna, the girls and their moms arrive, we'll begin decorating the tree." Abby said.
"We've also just finished the christmas cookies." Maryen added.
"And they look good." Dominic added, then a knock was heard at the door. "That has to be Gia, the moms and girls."
Abby went to the door and standing at the doorway were the moms, girls and Gianna and after they came in, they all greeted Dominic, Maryen and Broadway Baby. They all began eating christmas cookies.
"Those christmas cookies were delicious." Jill complimented.
"They sure are." Melissa agreed and then next was decorating the tree and in the boxes were ornaments, garland, lights, tinsel and a star.
"What's gonna go on the tree first?" Mackenzie asked.
"How about we start with the garland?" Chloe suggested.
"Sounds great." Abby agreed. "Dom, can you get the garland?"
"Gotcha."
Dominic went to the box that had the garland in and brought it to the tree and with a little help from Brooke, wrapped it around the tree.
"Fantastic job, Dominic and thanks for the assist, Brooke." Kelly commented.
"You're welcome." Dominic and Brooke replied.
"Let's add the lights." Holly stated.
Gianna and Christi got the lights from the box and everybody pitched in and then carefully put the lights on the tree as it was starting to look like a christmas tree.
"We've got the garland and lights on." Melissa said.
"How about we add the ornaments and last we'll add the tinsel?" Kendall suggested.
"Sure." Nia agreed as Dominic went to get the boxes which had the ornaments and the tinsel, everybody got them out and carefully placed them on the tree branches carefully.
"All right, there is just one more thing we've got to add to the tree." Abby said.
"That would be the star." Maryen stated.
"Grandma is correct." Dominic commented.
"There's one question, who's going to add the star on the tree?" Maddie asked.
"How about Mackenzie?" Kendall asked.
"Yeah, sounds like a great idea." Christi agreed and everyone agreed as Melissa went to get the star.
"Get on my shoulders, Kenzie." Dominic told Mackenzie.
"All right." Mackenzie said as the adopted son of Abby got on his knees so Mackenzie could be on his shoulders, then once she was on his shoulders, Dominic got up and then Melissa handed her younger daughter the star as Dominic carefully held Mackenzie's ankles so she would not fall and the younger Ziegler placed the star on the top of the tree and everybody cheered.
"The tree looks amazing." Paige commented.
"Yeah." Chloe agreed.
"We all did a fantastic job decorating the tree." Kendall stated.
"But however, there is just one more thing." Abby said.
"Let us guess, plug in the lights?" Christi guessed.
"You got it!" Gianna told her.
"I'll plug in the lights and someone can dim the lights." Dominic offered.
"Good idea, i'll dim the lights." Jill said, she then headed to the circular light switch and began dimming the lights as Dominic plugged in the lights and with that, the condo was dimly lit and the tree had a sparkling warm glow thanks to the lights, giving the tree a colorful look.
"The tree looks amazing!" Brooke complimented.
"It sure does." Dominic said and as everybody looked at the tree, Brooke held Dominic's hand and smiled at him and he smiled back at her and when Christmas day came, the girls, moms and families all came to Abby's condo and everyone enjoyed themselves and on new year's eve, Abby and Dominic watched the fireworks as 2012 arrived.
