The next 24 hours were hard on everyone.Athena couldn't sleep all night and she would get nightmares whenever she would close her eyes.Even though they knew each other for a little more than a year she knew she couldn't live without him.When she woke up the first thing she went to do is to see Xander.Even though she did not want to see him like this she had no choice.When she got to his room Xander's mother apologized. "Listen Athena,I'm sorry I've been so rough on you it's hard for me to see him to grow up especially without his brother". "Wait he has a brother?" "He died when he was 7.He went swimming in the pool but he drowned, unfortunately.Before you ask there was someone watching him we just have no idea what happened.All we know is Nolan was with him and he ran to tell me.The person who was watching him looked away for one second and that was okay since he was a very strong swimmer.Every year on his birthday we throw a ball in honor of him.Sad part was Xander was only 3 when it happened so he doesn't remember his brother.We had everyone's memory of him wiped except ours.Our dear Sage brought us joy years later after this incident but I haven't been the best mother to her because of this." "Yes that is because they wanted to adopt him for a while but they had a newborn baby.But that baby died at a year old so they used that baby's pictures.But like I said they waited a while to adopt him." After their long conversation Athena went into Xander's room. "I can't even look at him". "I know me too.If you want you can leave Gantrick for a bit if you want.Because we don't know how long he is going to be in this coma like state." "Thank you for the offer just let me think about it".
