The next few weeks were like hell for Athena. She missed Xander.All she could do was think about him.Until she got a letter to return to Gantrick.Without thinking she packed her stuff and left within the next hour.She was excited to go back.She hoped he was better.When she got there she got greeted by Sage giving her a hug and the king and queen giving her a hug as well. "How is Xander.Is he okay". "No sadly he has gotten way worse.We are still trying to find a way to save him but the doctors say we might only have a week left to think of something." The king said. "Well besides that tonight we are having Xander's birthday celebration.Because no one knows what happened to him we need you to come and act like he is just sick with the normal flu." "Why can't we postpone it? ". "We usually have the celebration at most a week later,we already postponed it long enough and if we don't have it tonight everyone will get suspicious". "Alright but I have nothing to wear". "We have you covered just go to your room and you have a few choices to pick from.Also Xander wanted to give you this." She gave Athena a heart necklace. " "But I already have one". She then took her necklace out from under her shirt. "Well this one he has a matching one of and once they are near each other they connect." She then held the necklace and smiled at it.

She eventually went up to her room.On her bed were a few options of dresses.She ended up choosing a light pink dress.For final touches she put on the jewelry Xander gave her as well as the dagger in the pocket of her dress.Everything was well at the ball.But everyone kept bringing up Xander.All she could think about is him telling her how she looked beautiful and them dancing together.She dozed off thinking about it but when she was done she went out to get some air.This time she went through the flower maze.She was walking for a little bit until she heard someone behind her.She started to walk faster.The mysterious person then came up behind her holding her still.She started screaming but no one was able to hear.

She then looked up and saw him about to stab her.She quickly got her hand into her pocket and stabbed him in the leg.She got free and turned around. "Who are you?And why were you trying to hurt me?" "I can't say please help me". "Who sent you?And why should I help you?" "I'm not allowed to say". "Then I won't help you". She walked away.She didn't want to do that but he almost hurt her.When she got out of the maze she could feel her breath going heavy.She knew she was going to have a panic attack.She quickly got inside.The queen stopped her. "Athena honey are you okay". "Please can I go we'll talk about this later". She walked away to be stopped by Nolan. "Nolan please can we talk at a later time". She felt like she was going to pass out.She didn't want to see him after what happened and how she was feeling."No because this is important.As you know of Xander's condition he might not get better.Since there is no more realitives willing to take the crown I am going to". "Wait what about his parents and Sage". "Well they are no longer needed as king and queen so someone has to take the throne.Now with me being king I am going to need a queen." "What about Sabrina".She said interupting him. "No because she refuses to see me after our encounter". "Now as I was saying you will be my queen". "No Nolan that won't happen". "You really think he is going to get better.Be realistic here and it is not up for a debate".He then walked away.Athena's breathing got worse.She wished Xander was there to comfort her.She walked away except with this time with tears.She made it pretty far before she collasped.Charles came and got her right away to a doctor aswell as alerting the king and queen.Once they heard they rushed to her side.A group of doctors showed up to take her away.Vivienne went out to the crowd and told them that they will be unexpectedly ending the ball early.Nolan watched from afar.Vivienne went back over to Athena. "Is she going to be okay."Roland asked. "Yes.Now let's get her checked out thoughjust to be sure."
