Every day was the same.Nothing changed except for an activity here and there.Athena still tried to get Xander to like her, but he was stubborn.

Two months later...

Athena decided to go outside and read a book since the sun was shining bright that day.As she was walking she heard someone screaming and struggling.She went around the corner to see Xander fighting with a rabbit while Sage was laughing.Athena giggled at the sight.Xander looked over, giving her a death look. "Can you just get this thing off me". He said agitated. Athena went over and grabbed the beautiful grey rabbit.The rabbit calmed down and snuggled into her chest.Xander looked at her like she was crazy. "Back home I was great with animals." "So that thing almost killed me". "No, you were just scared-."She looked down to see what the rabbit was. "Her.You scared her". "Me scared her .She almost gave me a heart attack". Right as he said that, his parents came around to see what the commotion was. "What was wrong? Sage? Xander?" His parents said in unison. "Nothing, just a stupid rabbit almost killed me". Xander said ."She wouldn't of if you just let me play with her".Sage said. "Very well then set the rabbit free and enjoy this beautiful day since we only get them once in a while".Their parents walked away.But Athena said, "Wait.Can I keep her.I've always wanted a rabbit but my family said no". Athena said pleading. "Fine, but you don't have to ask us.You are an adult after all.Do what you want". Athena looked down and smiled at the rabbit. "Are you serious you want to keep that". "Yes, I do.I'll consider it the first gift you got me". "Don't flatter yourself I'll get you something and it would be significantly better than that". "Whatever.I'll name her Millie". Sage looked over happy and walked over.Xander looked over before walking away.Athena was happy.Her and Sage played with Millie for an hour.Sage went off and played with her friends.Athena went up to her room with Millie.Before she went in she saw a note.It read, "To Athena,I hope this letter reached you well.Tonight if you can please meet me at the garden.I have something special for you.I'll be waiting, join me at seven. Sincerely ,Xander". Athena held the note and smiled.She was waiting for a moment like this and it seemed he was turning around.She walked into her room and Millie's cage and essentials were set up for.She put Millie in her cage and made sure she was ok before getting ready.She first showered and then she went to her closet.Instead of her usual bright colors she went for black and white.She wore a white long sleeve top with a white slip dress that had black leopard print on it.She wore black combat boots.She curled her hair and put on light makeup as well as some silver jewelry.She grabbed her bag with the letter and off she went.
