He held Athena in his hands.Scared for their future.He didn't know what he was going to do if he lost her.He thought about their sons.He didn't want them to go with a mom.A million thoughts rushed through his head.She was rushed to the hospital.Both families came together for this.The people of Asterin were not thrilled that the royal family were there but they had no choice.It was life or death.When Xander got there he was pacing back and forth.He eventually went into her room.She was hooked up to many machines.He couldn't see her like this.It hurt him to see her like this.His mom walked in the room and put her hand on his shoulder. "Mum, if she doesn't make it,you know I'm going to have to go with her". "Xander please we can't lose you.Our kingdom will fall and be ruined.We can't handle your death." "Mum I know but she is my world.I can't live without her." "What about your boys it wouldn't be fair to them". "I know but we already made arrangements where her sisters will take care of them." "Xander please think about this."She said before walking away.Xander stayed by Athena's side.

In the waiting room Athena's parents were a mess.The king and queen talked with them. "I know this is hard.You two will get through this no matter what happens.Trust us we know the feelings". "Thank you."A few minutes later Athena took a breath.Xander was pushed out of the room by doctors once they saw she was going through a nightmare like state.Her parents stood up. "What happened?" "I don't know". Nolan was then walking down the hallway to Athena's room.Xander held his wrist back. "What are you doing?" Nolan said. "You are not allowed to see her". "Xander I'm here to help.She is going through the same thing as reading a paper written by someone and she is feeling the emotions." "What". "To sum it up quickly me and Athena's generation were given this some kind of power by the government I guess.Basically when someone writes something on a piece of paper me or her or others can touch it  and we can feel all the emotions or whatever is happening to them while they write.So essentially if someone is writing during a heart attack or something we can feel it.The thing is we could die from it if we aren't careful with it.The government stopped handing out the ability after a few kids died.But trust me I was sent here to enter her mind." "How". "They are making her write something it doesn't even have to be words and I'm going to enter through that." "Fine but I have to be in the room".Nolan nodded and they walked into the room.Athena was shaking,crying,and screaming.Xander wanted to take her pain away.Nolan went up to the paper.The doctors were surrounding him.Xander backed up and watched.Nolan was wincing before he was pushed back. "What happened Nolan". "I wasn't able to access her thoughts.It was like a forcefield protecting it.I'm sorry." "No try again.I'm not letting any of you give up on her". Xander said. "We aren't Alexander.We are trying our best". A doctor said."Well your best isn't working".He went up to Athena and held her hand.He held back his tears.He didn't know what to do.Suddenly he felt a shock.It then got stronger.
