With my German class coming to an end, it is time for me to go to PE. Ew, I hate this the most. I ask Sungchan to wait by the boy's locker room, act like he dressed out or something. I had also asked Sungchan to bring something to work out in because I have a PE class. I know I'm totally going to get shown up by Sungchan, as he's a very athletic guy. He used to play soccer and skii during the winter. I'm about to show Sungchan just how not-so athletic I am.

The girls come out of their locker room and the boys followed. Sungchan had to stand sort of awkwardly with the other guys, not really knowing what to do, while the PE teacher does attendance. The PE teacher immediately notices that Sungchan is not on the list of students while calling attendance. Since his last name starts with J, he had already passed that without calling Sungchan's name. I ask my teacher, the female PE teacher if I can go over there and explain for Sungchan. Being the nice teacher she is, she allows me.

I walk over to the boys side and explain to the boys PE teacher.
"This is Sungchan Jung. He is my friend who is visiting from South Korea. Can he join our class just for today?" I asked.
"Oh, sure. I don't see why not." He said.
"Okay, thanks." I said, then gave a thumbs up to Sungchan.
I jog back to the girls side, then we continue our stretches. Once we finish stretching, as part of our little warm-up, we are supposed to run a mile, but since we have a short schedule, the PE teachers shortened it to half a mile, so 2 laps. Sungchan doesn't understand our system of measurement which is the imperial system, compared to the rest of the world that uses the metric system. I guess Sungchan will be learning a lot of new things today.

When we go out to run the half mile, as soon as I explained to Sungchan what he has to do, he speeds past even the most athletic guys in my PE class. I mean, he is straight up sprinting, and gets finished with the 2 laps in record time. The male PE teacher timed his half mile and said Sungchan finished in 2:30 minutes flat. Wow. . . I knew Sungchan is athletic, but finishing a lap at 1:30 each is pretty quick. Some of the football players can't even get that time. I think I found another NCT member who's good at everything, oh boy. Sungchan sits in the bleachers, catching his breath, and waiting for me to finish my half mile. He is cheering me on as well, saying various expressions of "good luck, you've got this, keep going!" But, in Korean, ya know.

I finish my half mile a little slower, at 3 minutes. My first ever mile I ever ran was a good 8 minutes, but these days, I am much slower than I was in middle school. I think it's because I had just gotten lazy. I really need to work on that. We finished PE, changing back into our regular clothes. Now, onto my next, and one of my favorite classes ever, Advanced Public Speaking 1. Sungchan and I walk across the street and all the way across campus, to the oldest building on the campus, and make our way to my public speaking class.

That half mile run really took a lot out of me, but Sungchan is dragging me, pushing me to keep walking. Eventually, once we get to the building, he smirks, swiftly picking me up and carries me upstairs. Wow, what a prince-like moment that was. He even carries me into the classroom, then plops me down on the floor gently. I shake my head, laughing. My classmates just saw that. It's okay though. What they don't know about Sungchan and I, won't hurt them. I take my seat and Sungchan sits in the back so he can keep his proper distance from other students, as it's the rules.

We do what's called Table Topics, which is a quick one minutes speech on any topic. We usually choose a theme to help guide our topics as well. I decided to go first, and the theme was broad; the world. This could have questions like; if you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go? What language(s) would you learn? What is your dream vacation? What is your favorite place on earth? When it was my turn, I got the classic question about which language I would learn. I stand up in front of my class and my timer starts as soon as I start talking.
"So, basically. I'm already learning German, and I'm almost finished with that, so not German. May I flex my language skills real quick?" I asked. My speech teacher nods her head with a smile, then I continue,
"Okay, here it goes. 안녕하세요, 저는 래셀입니다. こんにちは  私の名前はレシェルです. 你好,我叫莱瑟. สวัสดีครับ ผมชื่อราเชล." I said(Hello my name is Raeshel in; Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Thai)
"Wow." My speech teacher said, clapping.
"성찬 오빠, 이리 와." I said, calling Sungchan to come here.
"Mhm, 네." Sungchan said, walking up and standing next to me.
"안녕~ 잘지내니?" I asked(Hey~ How are you?)
"난 잘 지내, 너는?" Sungchan asked(I'm good and you?)
"나는 위대해." I said(I'm great)
"Time!" One of my classmates exclaimed, meaning my time has finished. I'm sure I totally went over the 1 minute time, but they just let me keep going because of Sungchan.

I take my seat and Sungchan goes back to his chair in the back of the room. Later on in the class, a few of my classmates were impressed that I can actually speak near fluent Korean. Well, after studying for a few months and forcing myself to use it, having Korean friends, etc, I've become pretty good at it. We leave my advanced public speaking class, and go to my 5th hour, which is: American History.
