Chapter 12- Another Kidnapping

I look down the dark bloodied halls of the school, where only the predator and it's prey remain. Me? I was the one to be hunted, and the hunter...

"Maybe... Here?"

I hid under the teacher's desk in one of the classrooms. I heard the door open and saw someone walk past in front of me. Once I heard the door open and close again, I knew it was safe to come out. I searched around the classroom, and once I found a key, I left.

Unfortunately for me, once I left, the girl who was chasing after me was waiting right there at the door, eyes glowing red.

"No!" I shout.

"If I can't have you... No one can..."

I let myself fall backwards, tossing the controller aside. I was playing 'Yandere No Sutoka', a game where you have to escape an empty school while being chased by a yandere girl. I suck at hard mode.

"Are you still playing that game?" Ayato entered his bedroom, hair wet from taking a shower. "Why haven't you gone home?"

I turn to lay on my side. "I didn't feel like leaving yet." I heard shuffling around and noticed that he grabbed the controller and put in a new game. I sat up and situated myself next to him. "Yanvania? You still have that?"

He nods. "I'm really far in the game."

After loading a save file, I notice that he was on 'Heartbreak' level. "Hey, you're right." I watched him play for a while. He managed to reach the boss level, which was against a succubus. 'Huh... A succubus...'

"S-succubus..?!"

I had to hold back a snicker, remembering the boy from the occult club. 'Oh yeah, I joked that I was a succubus and he believed me.' He thought I had him under a spell that made him fall in love with me.

"Tch!"

"Hm?" I brought my attention back to the screen only to see that there was an error displayed. "Ha! Weren't you in the middle of the final boss fight?"

"Yeah." He scowls before taking out the disk and looking it over. "The disk is scratched."

"That sucks." I got up a stretched before heading to the door.

"Leaving now?"

"I'm tired and it's getting late, so I'll head home."

It's only Tuesday and I'm already ready for the weekend. I'm usually not bothered by school, it gives me more opportunities for manipulation and trickery... Usually...

On times when I do actually care, it's ones like these. Ever since I started helping Ayato with Taeko, I just can't seem to catch a break. Mostly because of all these boys. What makes this day especially bad? We only just walked onto school grounds, only to immediately hear the chatter of a loud drama queen. You all know who I'm talking about. 'It's too early for this.'

"Hey! It's (Y/N) and Ayato! Hi guys!" Hanako waved us over enthusiastically. How he's able to be so full of energy at this time of day I don't know.

We approached them and Ayato gave Kizano an uninterested look as he spoke. "He's here again?"

Kizano looked at him, offended, and brought a hand to his chest. "You say that as if you don't want me here."

Taeko nervously steps in. "I'm sure it's nothing like that."
