Chapter 20- Out with the Gang

He grit his teeth and clenched his fists in anger. How could this have happened? He takes a look around at his surroundings. Students and teachers are standing nervously in front of the school while being questioned by officers.

He just recently finished talking to the headmaster and had gotten off the phone with some people, about adding some new additions to the school.

He takes another moment to look over the student body before his eyes landed on what was left of the Photography club. They were mourning the loss of a dear and close friend. He could feel his blood begin to boil once more. If only he hadn't involved them, then this wouldn't have happened!

He was aware that the photography club wanted to get down to the bottom of Akademi's tragic events. Although he was reluctant at first, he allowed them to get involved. He knew that despite their carefree nature at the start of the school year, they were good at what they do and how they begun to take it seriously when needed. However, letting them get involved was a huge mistake on his part. A mistake that resulted in the death of the club leader.

'They're clever.' he thought to himself. He was one of the few people who wasn't fooled by the fake suicide note. 'Whoever the culprit was, they knew something like this would get the photography club off their tail and managed to fool most of the student body...'

'I will catch you... And I swear you will not get away with this!'

Simultaneously, Ayato and I sneezed.

"Goodness! both of you?" Taeko gazed at us in concern. "You two aren't getting sick are you? Maybe we can do this another time?"

Ayato looked as though a god had granted him eternal happiness. "S-Senpai is so kind..."

I waved off her concerns with a smile. "We'll be fine. Who knows, maybe someone was just talking about us." Or at least they were thinking about us a few days ago at school right after the incident with Fureddo and swears to bring us to justice. Haha! What? You think I'm being oddly specific? Don't sweat the details!

That aside, it's just as I said. What exactly am I talking about? The fact that it happened a few days ago. For those who are wondering what happened between then and now, I shall tell you! Even though it isn't that exciting. Basically, school has been canceled for the rest of the week. Naturally because there was a death on school grounds, but also we heard from Info-kun that they'll be adding to the school.

When the weekend arrived, we received a message from Taeko, who invited us out with, to neither of our surprise, Osano and Hanako. She figured that spending the day together, might help make us feel a little better after what occurred at school. Naturally it won't completely help things, but it's something. Not that Ayato and I cared, we were the culprits after all, but how could we say no to her?

Osano crossed his arms and lets out a tired sigh. "What are we even going to be doing anyway? When we first met up, you didn't even have a clue on what to do. Why did you even invite us all out if you didn't even make any plans?"

Taeko pouts and stutters out an excuse. "H-Hey! I only forgot, and I managed to think up a few things while waiting for (Y/N) and Ayato!"

Ayato looked as though he had a thing or two he was tempted to say to Osano, and it didn't look as though it would be pleasant. So I decided to speak up before anything could be said. "Now now Osano, I love your tsundere self, but I'd rather you not add anymore grump then you already have."

"Oi!" He glares me down, but when he saw the smile on my face, he turns away with a hint of pink to his cheeks. "D-Don't look at me like that dummy..."
