What to do, what to do... What should I do about the rivals? Ryu warned us about this, but it already happened before Ayato even met her! While I sat there thinking to myself, I heard grumbling as someone entered the classroom. "Idiot had to oversleep and nearly made us late... Why didn't her brother wake her up?" A boy with orange hair was talking to himself as he made his way to his desk.
'Hey... The same thing happened with my friend too!' After our little conversation about his senpai, I asked Ayato where he was since he wasn't at the classroom when I arrived. Apparently he ended up going right back to sleep after I left! That boy!
Suddenly, I felt a poke from behind me. I turned around to see Ayato, who was sitting behind me. He looked angrily at the orange haired boy as he spoke in a low and irritated sounding voice. "That's him..." He whispered.
"Huh? Who's him?" I asked what he meant, also looking at the boy. However, I had a feeling.
He raised his voice a tiny bit but it was still a whisper. "That boy! The one who has a crush on senpai!"
I quickly turned my head back to Ayato and back at the boy. "The childhood friend? Osano??" Oh wow, what are the chances of him being in the same class as us.
"Yes! When I first bumped into senpai, that guy and senpai's brother were there with her. I didn't notice them at first, but I did when he urged her to get to her class." He explains.
"Eh..." I didn't say anything else but looked at the boy who was called Osano.
"(Y/N), what are we going to do about him?"
"Well... It is important that we do something about him and whatever other rivals there are. But there are more important things."
He furrowed his eyebrows at me. "More important things? What else could be more important?! He's going to take her from me!"
I fully turned around in my seat and placed a hand on his shoulder. "What makes you think she'll accept your feelings when she hasn't even spoken to or met you?"
He looked confused. "Huh? What do you mean?"
I sigh. "Ayato, I know that your dad was able to get your mom without even speaking to her, but we're going to be doing things differently." He gave me a look, signaling me to go on. "We are going to do something about the rivals, but what is most important is you spending time with her and winning her over."
He looked at me in horror. "I can't do that!"
I rolled my eyes and sighed again. "And why is that?"
He looked away nervously and had a blush on his face. "I'm too shy to talk to her."
"..."
"..."
"You've got to be kidding me." He shook his head, showing that he wasn't, in fact, kidding. "That's just going to make things harder for us! Having her willingly fall in love with you through spending time together would make things easier, and she would genuinely be in love with you and have no reason to resist." I explain to him and he seemed to be in thought about it.
"I know... But I'm still too shy to talk to her."
I facepalmed. 'At least he understands that my idea would be the best one.' I thought to myself. "Fine then, I'll just have to do something about it." I told him.
He looked at me in alarm. "What are you going to do? (Y/N)!"
However, before he could continue questioning me, a teacher came in. "Good morning students. I know that it's the first day, but I already have an announcement regarding your teacher."
