Part 4: Finding Out

Daniele, Tigey, Summer, and Steven walked by the meteor.
"Dang! This thing did a lot of damage!" Steven said as he walked closer to the meteor.
"I suggest not to get so close..." Daniele stopped as Steven's tree around his neck burst into flames. He backed up screaming.
"TAKE OUT THE FIRE!" Steven screamed
"I DON'T KNOW HOW!!" Daniele screamed.
"JUMP INTO THE OCEAN!" Summer screamed the suggestion
"NO!!!! I am not going by that octopus!!"
"How did everyone else know bout the octopus but me!?" Daniele screamed.
"Jump into the pond!" Tigey screamed
"God Dammit I have to, don't I?!" Everyone shook their heads quickly. Steven started to run down the hill but a yellow and red phoenix came out of the meteor and put a firewall around him. Everyone else tried to run away but the Phoenix put a firewall around them too. The bird flew into the air leaving behind smoke. It spread out its wings and the whole hill was surrounded in flames. It lands on the ground with a big thud. It cocked it's head at Daniele, Summer, and Tigey. The bird slowly walked towards them, leaving behind fiery bird footprints. They look around in terror.
"What do we do!" Daniele asked Tigey in a panic
"Use your powers!" Tigey said quickly.
"How!?"
"Stick your hands out and think of water!" Daniele nervously walked forward a little, and stuck her hands out at the Phoenix, it stops and looks at her in confusion. She closed her eyes, and imagined herself spraying water out of her hands. She concentrated and a rush of cold went to her palms. She slowly opened her eyes and saw water coming out of her palms. The water hit the phoenix and it fell to the ground. She aimed her hands at Steven and closed her eyes. Water came out of her hands and hit the tree. The fire went out and the tree fell apart. Steven rubbed his neck and looked at Daniele. Daniele slowly lifted off into the air and water began to surround her. She flattened the water out like a blanket and dropped it onto the hill., extinguishing the fire. Daniele drifted back down and held her head in pain. Daniele turned around and saw Summer slowly backing up. Daniele looked at her in confusion and tried walking towards her, Summer took a big step back and looked at Steven. Daniele turned to see Steven in a confused and awe state. Daniele put her head down, and a tear fell from her face. She clenched her fist and snapped her head towards Summer then evilly glanced at Steven. She quickly flew up into the air and went behind a cloud.
"What the hell just happened?!" Steven asked.
"Tigey! I think you have some explaining to do!"
"What happened?!" Steven said lost.
"You didn't see what happened?!" Summer screamed.
"All I saw was she floated up into the air and took out the fire the Phoenix decided to leave us!"
"And you don't think that is not at all creepy or weird? !" Summer stuck her arms out where Daniele was. Steven backed up and looked up in the sky the back at Summer and shook his head.
"No... I thought that was fucking awesome!" Steven said amazed. He looked back up rubbing his neck "What happened to her??"
"She got exposed to the radiation, as well you guys did too, from the meteor!"
"What does that mean?!" Summer asked.
"It means you have the same powers as Daniele does! Hers might me more powerful though!"
"Why does hers get to be more powerful!? Why couldn't Summer get more powerful powers?!"
"When Ashley said split up Daniele turned to the right and tried to run passed it. When meteor crashed it hit her right side. Why do you think half of her arm was that red, bruised, and cut up?!"
"But why did she get more powerful powers?! You never answered that!" Steven said.
"Actually I did! Her right side was closer to the meteor when it crashed. When you have wounds and you are exposed to radiation, it will seep into your skin more, and faster. More radiation got into her body. The back of Summer's arm are cut up. She got exposed to more of the radiation. But not near as much as Daniele." Tigey looked at Ashley.
"What about me!? Did I get strong powers?!" Steven said happily.
"You got the same powers as they do...But not as strong." Tigey walked to Steven.
"What are you trying to say?" Steven said sadly.
"What I am trying to say is....you... are the runt of the group when it comes to having powers."
" I am going to go talk to Daniele!" Summer said.
"Be careful!" Tigey said.
"I will."
"Do you even know how to fly?" Steven asked.
"No. Tigey will you help me?"
"Sure! I am actually surprised Daniele knew how to do it. What I usually do is that I try and think about flying. All you should try to think about is flying. It worked for me." Summer closed her eyes and thought about flying. She slowly started to float, she opened her eyes looked down. She thought more about it and started to float higher. She thought harder and flew passed the clouds. She opened her eyes and look around, she saw Daniele floating with her back facing her, looking at the sun.
"Daniele." Summer said quietly. She slowly tried to fly towards her.
"What." Daniele said taking an earbud of of her left ear.
"Are you ok?"
"A little. Sorry I stormed off like that. At first I thought you were going to judge me, well start to."
"You know I would never judge you. Come back please. Tigey explained everything to us."
"I will come back."
"YAY!!!! Wait how are you floating, without trying?"
"I have no clue, I just am. Well I somewhat know."
"Tell me when you get back so I don't have to keep on thinking about flying ok."
"Ok." Daniele and Summer flew out of the clouds. They went back to the meteor. As they were landing, Tigey jumped up and flew around Daniele.
"I think we need to go!" Steven said waking up to Summer and Daniele.
"What are we going to do about this?!" Daniele said pointing at the meteor. The sound of sirens and helicopters filled the air.
"Trust me! I think these guys can handle it! We just need to get out of here before we are caught!" Steven said grabbing Summer and Daniele's arms.
"Hey!! What are you doing here?!" Some man screamed. He wore a gray suit and a black tie
"We need to go! NOW!!" Daniele, Summer, Steven, and Tigey began to run into the cornfield.
"Get back here! You have a lot of explaining to do!" The man ran after them. They ran passed the lion that was still passed out on the ground. They ran through the pile of popcorn there. They ran passed a tree in the middle of the cornfield, the tree had a hole through it the size of a head.
"What the!!!" Steven looked at the tree.
"Just keep running!!" Daniele shouted. Steven kept on running behind them.
"GET BACK HERE!!!!" The man said. He began to shoot everywhere.
"How do we get away! He is just going to keep on chasing us!" Summer said panting.
"We go invisible!" Daniele and Tigey implied.
"How!?"
"Easy, almost like Harry Potter when he puts a cloak over him!"
"So we just put a blanket over our heads!" Steven said.
"An invisible one!" Tigey corrected.
"Where are we gonna get an invisible blanket?!!" Summer screamed.
"Imagination!!" Tigey said happily.
"I can so do that!" Daniele said. Daniele imagined herself invisible and in a blink of an eye, she was gone. Tigey did the same thing and disappeared. Summer imagined herself invisible and she was also gone. It took Steven a couple tried to turn invisible, since he doesn't have that good of imagination.
"Ok this is when we stop running and hide!" Tigey stated. They all stopped running and hid in the cornfield. The man stopped running to take a breather and looked around. He heard no rustling of the corn. He ran his hand through his hair. Summer was about to sneeze, and Daniele covered her mouth. Her and Daniele slowly began to back up. Summer sneezed and the man started to look around with his gun at point.
"I heard that! Don't think that I didn't hear that!" The man began to walk inside of the cornfield, and disappeared. Steven and Tigey came out and turned visible.
"Daniele!" Tigey whispered.
"HEEEEEEELP!!!!!!" Daniele and Summers creamed from the distance. Steven and Tigey ran in the direction of the scream. They ran through the corn, pushing the corn stalks out of the way. They ran back to the meteor to find Daniele and Summer being dragged away by the military and people in hazmat suits.
"What are we gonna do?!" Steven asked Tigey.
"We go in and get them back."
"How?"
"We use the powers that you have learned to get them back."
"I only know how to turn invisible!"
"Well then you use that power, and I will use mine." They both turn invisible and started to walk over to them.
"Let go of me!" Daniele screamed.
"Oh no, we have a special place for you two. And there is nothing you can do about it." The man said walking over by Daniele and smiled.
"Oh really!!" Daniele implied.
"Yes really!!! We will always find you! And you will never win!"
"Ok we will see about that!" Daniele kicked the man in the face and turned invisible. She jumped up into the air and kicked the man behind her. She ran to Summer and punched the man, holding her, in the face. She grabbed her arm and she ran off by the clift. She turned visible and turned around, and saw men running towards them. Daniele looked at the cornfield and saw Steven and Tigey. Daniele smiled and looked at Tigey. She grabbed Summer's wrist and jumped backwards off the cliff.
