Part 21: The Countdown (Day 2 and 3)

The sun rose into the sky, bright, and clear, the sky didn't have a cloud in it, and the birds sung their songs. Daniele and Matt woke up first to find themselves very closer together holding one another. 
"um... Morning." Daniele said nervously.
"Good morning." Matt smiles and slide her closer to him, he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her. "Realize last night was the best night of sleep I have ever gotten." Matt hugs Daniele tighter.
"Really!? Why??" Daniele lightly hugged back.
"I never had something so warm next to me.. You didn't move or anything.." Matt smiled and looked down at her.
"Yeah... I kinda don't move that much when I'm sleeping."
"Well.. I needa sleep next to you more often.. I love your warmth." Matt smiled and hugged her even tighter.
"Do you wanna eat real quick and get started on practicing our flying?" Daniele stopped hugging him and sat up.
"Yeah sure." Matt sat up with her.
"Okay.. Lets go!" Daniele got up and held her hands out. Matt looked at her, smiled, and took her hands. Daniele helped him up, and they both quietly walked out into the backyard. They went over to the fence and looked at each other. 
"You ready to start flying!?" Daniele happily asked.
"Do you even know how to fly?" Matt crossed his arms and smiled. "Do I have to teach you." He smiled more.
"Nope.. Because I know how to fly!" Daniele smiled back.
"I don't believe you." Matt walked closer to her.
"I'll race to the top of that tree!" Daniele pointed up into the hair to the top of the tree in the backyard.
"You're on!" Matt playfully pushed her.
"See you there then." Daniele rose into he air and started to fly to the top.
"Hey! No fair! You didn't say go!" Matt flew after her. He got closer and grabbed you ankle and pulled her down next to him. "You won't win!" Matt said with a smile.
"Wanna bet!?" Daniele looked at Matt.
"Yeah!" Matt said.
"Okay!" Daniele speeds up her flying and goes ahead of Matt, she flies into the tree and hides. Matt follows Daniele into the tree and sees her sitting on a thick branch.
"Come sit by me! Oh by the way.. I won!" Daniele said with a smile.
"I let you win." Matt sat next to her.
"Sure you did." Daniele smiled. 
"I'm serious." Matt said and scooted closer to Daniele. "Lets go back down and wait for the others."
"Um... Okay." Daniele agreed. They both floated down and as they were gonna sit down until Steven and Summer came out into the backyard.
"Oh good morning Summer!" Daniele said happily.
"Morning.. I hope Tigey teaches us how to fly."
"She will! She taught me!" Matt said.
"Okay." Summer said with a smile.
"This day probably won't be as fun as yesterday.. You guys made it fun yesterday." Steven said.
"Yeah you did!" Summer agreed.
"Well lets hope we can find a way to make it fun today." Daniele said. 
"You guys ready?" Tony came out asking. Tigey followed after.
"Well you guys better be because we are gonna go into the shade, eat, and get right to work." Everyone followed Tigey to a shady place and watched her spawn all the food onto the picnic blanket. "Okay everyone! Sit down and fill up!" Everyone sat down around the food and started to eating. A few minutes after they finish eating, Tigey cleaned up the blanket.
"So what are we gonna learn today.. and possible tomorrow?" Steven asked.
"Today we are learning how to fly, and tomorrow we are learning how to turn invisible. The fourth day we will just be wrapping up and getting prepared." Tigey replied
"This seems about right." Summer said.
"I can't wait for this war to be over and we have actual lives again." Daniele said and put her head down.
"hey.. don't worry.. We are gonna win this.. And they will leave us alone.. and we can all go back to our own lives again."
"Yeah.. our own.." Daniele said sadly and walked away. "Lets just get this training and practicing over with so we can get this done." 
"What's wrong?" Matt asked curiously. Daniele just shook her head and didn't move. 
"Okay!! Well first things first.. I already saw Matt and Daniele flying this morning so I don't need to show them how to.. For the rest of you I will need to show you.. So Daniele.. Matt... Go ahead and go to your place.. I will be with you in a second." Tigey said. Daniele and Matt walked off.
"So how are you gonna teach us to fly?" Summer asked. 
"Well it should be easy if you have an open mind." Tigey answered. "First thing is first you will need to stay concentrated during the time or focused on what you are doing.. Once you are focused will be able to stay a in the air and balance other things in the process."
"So how do we learn to fly?" Steven asked.
"Well first you will need to clear your mind of any distractions and tune out any unwanted noises.. Then focus on only wanted to fly.. Like meditation.. Once you are fully calm and distraction free.. You will slowly start to fly.. When you feel light as a feather then open your eyes."  Steven, Summer, and Tony closed their eyes and spread themselves apart from one another. They cleared their thoughts and tuned out most noises that deluded them. Summer started to float, shortly after Tony started floating. They both opened their eyes and calmly looked around.
"Okay... We are floating... How do we move to fly?" Tony asked.
"Well there are certain body movements into learning how to fly.. First is leaning forward to accelerate, leaning back to slow down or break, moving your body left to turn left, moving right to turn right, looking straight up to go up, and facing down to go down.. These few body movements will help aid you into flying better.. And oh Steven... You need to start flying soon.. Or do I need to have to teach you one on one??"
"One on one..." Steven said sadly.
"Okay.. go over there by the tree and keep practicing.. Once I'm done with them I will go help you." Tigey said pointing to the tree. Steven walked away to the tree and sat down waiting. "Okay now you guys.. I want you to use the body movement I have said to help you fly.. If you need a break.. slowly lower yourself down to the ground and relax.. I will check back on you later.." Tigey left and went over by Steven and help him.
"Okay.. So this should be easy.. I hope." Summer said.
"Yeah." Tony agreed. Summer looked up and slowly moved upwards, and she motioned her body to go up and she sped up. Tony followed her lead and did the same and followed her. Summer motioned left and Tony motioned right and they flew into the sky and started moving in different direction.
"Okay... I want down now.. I am not use to being up this high." Summer said.
"I agree.. Lets go down." Tony agreed. They both turned around and flew to the ground. They slowed themselves down, put their feet on the ground, and walked over to the tree where Tigey and Steven were at.
"Hey Tigey! We just fl... W-Where's Steven??" Summer asked.
"He is having a hard time flying.." Tigey said.
"GET ME DOWN FROM HERE!!! HOW DO YOU CONTROL THIS!!??" Steven screamed from above. Everyone looked up and saw Steven trying to swim in the air but to find himself slowly floating in a circle.
"You won't get down and I won't help you until you until you learn how to control your flying ability!" Tigey said loudly. Steven stopped moving and just floated there. "Okay good.. Now.. Lean forward!" Steven listening and slowly leaned forward, he started to slowly move. "See! Now lean back!" Steven listened again and leaned back, he started to move backwards. "Now lean down!" Steven did as told and slowly started to descend to the ground. Steven put his legs to the ground and he fell to the ground.
"At least I know how to somewhat fly now." Steven said laying on the ground.
"We will practice more.. Everyone seems to have is pat down so go ahead and start doing what you wanna do with your powers.. Steven come with me.." Tigey walked away and Steven followed her to the back of the yard.
"Daniele.. Why won't you tell me what's wrong?" Matt asked.
"Because there is nothing wrong." Daniele said quietly.
"That's a lie! Tell me.." Matt answered back.
"When this war is over you said we'll go back to our lives.. So I got sad because I thought you were gonna forget all about us and go your own way." Daniele looked down.
"I won't forget about you guys.. Especially you." Matt lifted her head up and kissed her forehead. "Don't be sad.. Please."
"I'll try not to." Daniele said sadly.
"No! Don't try.. Just do.. Please." Matt answered back quietly and continued to look at her.
"Okay.. I'll stop being sad." Daniele looked up at him and smiled.
"That's better!" Matt slides his hands down her arms and holds her hands. "Come on.. Lets go flying.. Lets see how many tricks we can do." Matt smiled at her.
"Okay! Hey everyone!! Lets fly into the air and see what kind of tricks we can do and see if we can dodge element orbs! Meet you guys in the skies!" Daniele quickly took off, Matt looked up and followed her. Summer and Tony followed them and made element orbs on the way.
"Ready!? Begin!!" Daniele screamed and she quickly made an ice cold water orb and threw it at Ashley.
"Oh my god That's cold!" Summer shivered and made a cold water orb and threw it back and Daniele.
"AAH!!" Daniele screamed and laughed shortly afterwards. Tony made a snowball and threw it at Ashley, but she dodge out of the way. Daniele laughed harder, but quickly stopped when a grass ball hit her  back legs. She turned to see Matt quietly laughing, and Daniele made a grass ball and threw it at him while he was still laughing. It hit his shoulder and he looked up at her.
"I got you now!" Matt started flying towards her and  Daniele flew away. Ashley and Tony flew around trying to hit either one another or at Matt and Daniele.
"You can't  hit a moving target now can you?" Tony screamed out.
"I can!" Daniele answered back. She made a mud ball, turned around continuing to fly away from, and threw the ball at Matt. The ball hit Matt in the forehead and he stopped to wipe the mud away. "I told you!"
"Okay guys!! Come on down and eat!" Everyone stopped and flew down to the picnic blanket under the tree. They got to the ground and walked the rest of the way to the blanket, and they sat down.
"Well.. let's eat up." Summer said. They began to eat, and talk to each other about nonsense or about the current events. After a few they finished eating and helped clean up the blanket. 
"Okay.. Now you guys can now goof around and practice with your powers.. I will still be over here teaching the other.. If anyone wants to learn something.. Please don't hesitate to come to me and ask.. I will teach you.." Tigey went off with Steven while the others played around. They used the  powers they had to play around to get their powers familiar. The sun crawled through the sky until it met with the horizon, and everyone grew tired and exhausted.
"I think I'm ready for bed!" Ashley shouted from the sky.
"Yeah me too." Daniele agreed.
"Me three!!" Steven shouted from below.
"Lets go to bed then!" Matt said and smiled.
"I can agree." Tony said. Everyone nodded and slowly flew to the ground. When they reached the ground they walked inside, all yawning and stretching. They took their spots and sat down.
"Goodnight everyone! See you all tomorrow!" Tony said.
"Goodnight indeed!" Steven said.
"I will see you all early in the morning.. Then we will eat and get started on how to turn invisible." Tigey said and she laid down. 
"Daniele.. Thank you for today.. I really liked today.. You always know how to make the day better." Matt said as he hugged Daniele.
"I am glad you enjoyed today." Daniele smiled and hugged back.
"Goodnight Daniele." Matt smiled sweetly and kisses her forehead.
"Oh.. Goodnight Matt." Daniele smiled back and closed her eyes.
The sun said goodbye for the day and the moon came and said hello to the night. A cool breeze goes through the house and gives everyone a chill, The grey clouds rolled in and brought rain. The house began to calmly drip with a rhythmic pattern of water drops hitting the lightly wet wood. The mood gave off a soft glow through the clouds, and the night slowly went by. The morning came by fast and brought a nice warm breeze, slowly waking them up.
"Good morning peoples!" Tony said.
"Morning." Summer and Daniele said. Everyone sat up and stretched.
"Okay everyone.. Today is simple.. All we are doing today is continuing to learn our powers and learning how to turn invisible.. This relativity simple.. All you guys have to do it just stay focused and in your mind just say invisible.. And when you wanna turn visible you just say visible in your mind... Really simple." Tigey instructed.
"That is all!?" Matt said.
"Yeah! Simple right! After you get that learnt you can just use your powers and make em, into something cool."
"Okay.. What do we do after that?" Steven said.
"Well after you learnt it then you can just relax and mess around with your powers." Tigey answered.
"I can do it!" Daniele quickly turned invisible. Everyone looked around for her, and Matt patted the areas where she once was. Summer all of a sudden started to rise in the air.
"Daniele! Stop!" Summer said smiling.
"Aww okay." Daniele put her down and turned visible, she sat  down by Matt.
"See everyone! Simple! If she can do it easily.. I am sure you guys can too."
Summer turned invisible and turned visible again. Everyone followed and turned invisible, after a few they turned visible again. They continued to to this for an hour, they looked like human Christmas lights, laughing, flashing on and off.
"Okay that is getting me tired." Daniele said holding her head.
"Yeah i think doing that will just waste our energy." Summer responded.
"I'm getting tired now!"Daniele said. "That took away most of my energy." Daniele continued and laid down.
"I agree with that action!" Tony said laying down. Everyone laid down and went back to sleep. They slept most of the day. Tigey came in and looked around. 
'I forgot to tell them bout not using the power too much.. Oh well... They need as much rest as they can get for tomorrow.' Tigey went back to the backyard to set up for the following day. It quickly turned into night as Tigey worked on her project. She got tired and went inside, curling up next to Daniele and falling asleep. The air drew cold and the wind rushed through the air. The clouds came in covering the glow of the half moon.
