Part 5: They Know

Daniele and Summer fell down all the way into the ocean below. Steven and Tigey were in awe on what just happened.
"Daniele." Tigey said softly.
"I can't believe she did that!" Steven said in surprise. They both backed up into the cornfield. They walked to the nearest house.
"Why would she do that?'' Steven said with his hands in his pockets.
"What else could she do? Huh!" Tigey snapped back.
"Well she didn't have to do it like that!"
"But she did anyway! And there is nothing we could of done to stop her!"
"Yes there was!" Steven stopped and looked at Tigey.
"Oh yeah! Come on! What could have we done!"
"We could have went out there and helped her or called her to come over there by us!"
"Running out there will let the government see us and they will know that there is more than two. Calling them over will cause the government to shoot and run after us, like what happened a few minutes ago."
"That's right!"
"Plus, Those people know that there are more than two people."
"What do you mean?"
"Those people out there now know there are more than two! They saw her look over by us, I saw them look over where we were before they jumped off."
"So you are telling me, that those people back there know that there are more people who witnessed that crash?" Steven said pointing towards the meteor.
"No.. I am saying that they know that there are more people with powers like them."
"Oooh!!!!" Steven looked around and scratched his head. Rustling in the corn startled them.
"They know where we are. They are coming for us! We need to go!" Tigey ran away and Steven followed. They ran on a path where there was no corn, so they couldn't be heard. They ran out of the corn and turned invisible. They ran to the clift and stopped.
"What are we going to do?" Steven asked.
"We jump."
"Are you crazy?!"
"Yes! Only a little though! But trust me it is the only thing we have." Tigey said looking down at the water below.
"Well I am not going! And you can't make me!" Steven said and crossed his arms. Tigey looked at him and walked behind him. Tigey stood up on her hind legs and pushed him forward, and Steven fell off the cliff. Tigey looked behind at the corn and saw the men come out of the corn. She turned back and jumped off. They fell down, Steven screaming at the top of his lungs.
"Will you shut up already!"
"AHHHH!!! WHY DID YOU DO THAT!!??"
"So they won't get you!" Tigey screamed. Steven stopped screaming to say something but went into the water. Tigey put up a bubble around Steven's head so he can breathe, then did the same to herself. They looked around to see if they can find Daniele and Summer.
"Well they are probably somewhere..."
"Look!! I found them!" Tigey pointed and two white bubbles slowly descending. Tigey swam towards them and Steven followed behind. As they swam closer they got more of a closer look on Daniele and Summer.
"Oh no!" Tigey swam faster to the bubbles.
"Wait! What? What happened?!" Steven tried to swim faster. Tigey swam away from Steven and soon was by the bubbles.
"Daniele. Ashley." Tigey said softly. She saw Daniele and Summer unconscious in the bubble.
"What happened?!" Steven asked.
"They are unconscious." Tigey said sadly.
"Well. at least the bubble is still around them."
"Not for long though. We need to get them to the surface and to a safe and dry place."
"Why?"
"These bubbles are only temporary until they wake up, if they do. This is only going to last a few minutes longer."
"Well then, that's good right? I mean then they will be awake."
"Wrong. This bubble is only temporary. Even if they aren't awake before the bubble disappears. Once this is gone, and they are still passed out, they will drown. And even if they are awake the, pressure of the water will kill them."
"Oh....Well lets get them to the surface." Steven swam to Summer's bubble and started to push it upwards to the surface. Tigey pushed Daniele's bubble to the surface. They reached the surface of the water and the bubbles disappeared.
"Ok. Now let's get them to a dry surface." Tigey said.
"How the government and the military are still up there looking for us."
"We go by that island over there." She pointed to the island a few yards away from where they were.
"Well then, we will bring them there." Steven began to swim Summer to the island. Tigey did the same thing with Daniele.
