Chapter 19 - Unexpected

"Alright Korra, it's been a week and you are slowly making progress."

"Do you really think so Su? I feel like I could be doing more..." Korra replies.

"Of course, you are convinced that Asami is innocent right?"

"Yes I am, but even if I believe that how will I talk to her?"

"Be open, admit your mistakes, apologize and hope for the best. I am sure Asami is willing to talk to you" Suyin answers.

Korra thinks about it. Would Asami forgive her? Would she be willing to talk to her?

"I don't think she would be willing to talk to me."

"Why do you think so Korra?"

"There is something I didn't tell you" Korra averts her eyes and looks at the floor.

"What is it?" Suyin asks gently.

"Well, how do I say this?"

"Take your time-" Suyin replies but is immediately cut off.

"I am a police officer investigating Asami's company, because of illegal business and she is still running from me!"

It is silent for a few seconds, before Suyin decides to speak up.

"Oh wow" Suyin says with wide eyes.

"So how do I talk to her?"

"A really good question... how do you think Asami will react if she sees you?"

"She will most likely run away or possibly fight me."

"Do you think she would be willing to talk if you tell her that you don't want to do her any harm?"

"I don't really know, but I think there is maybe a possibility that she won't fight and escape from me as she did a few days ago, if I tell her I only want to talk."

"Korra I would really advise you to find a perfect moment and place to talk to her. If Asami isn't willing to talk to you alone, maybe call some friends so she doesn't feel threatend" Suyin says.

"Do you think that will work?"

"I am sure it will Korra, you can try and see how it goes!" Suyin exlcaims with a grin.

"I am a little scared" Korra admits.

"Why are you scared?"

"What if she refuses to talk to me?"

"Korra, I am sure she won't refuse if you follow what I just suggested."

"I mean... I can try but I don't know..." Korra replies and fiddles with her fingers.

"Be brave Korra, you can do it I know it!"

"Thank you so much Suyin! You helped me to deal with my emotions better and I kinda feel relieved and... I don't know.. free and happier."

"You're welcome Korra, I am really glad I could help you a little. But I think it is time for you to go talk to Asami. We can talk about the result in the next therapy session alright?"

"Alright! Thank you Suyin, will see you soon!"

"I hope with good results."

Korra stands up and leaves the room. She thinks about how she can meet up with Asami and how she will be able to talk to her.

"Is that even possible?" Korra thinks to herself and wanders around the Village.

Kyoshi Village is a pretty quiet and nice place. It's nearly evening and Korra watches the people walking around in the village, laughing, talking and drinking together. It makes her miss her friends, but she is still stuck in this village, because she can't return to Republic City. Beifong told her to stay away after the car incident, until they deal with that problem.
