Once we got to my place, we went to the shed and got the cart. Then we went into my house, down the hall, and into my room. As I shut the door, Sarah asked, "Why is it quiet?" "That is weird. I don't know." I walked out of my room and opened the door to my parents room. No one was there!

I went back to my room. "No one was in their room and Eric isn't back so we are alone right now." I pulled three shirts from my closet and three pairs of jeans from my dresser. I already have a toothbrush and toothpaste and a brush at her house, so I don't need to pack that.

"Okay. Let's go!" I said. I walked towards the window when I heard a "ahem". I looked over at Sarah and she nodded her head toward the door. "Right!" I said. I'm so used to leaving through the window I guess I just... "So... Once we get back, you wanna watch a movie?" My thoughts were interrupted. "Sure!" I said cheerfully. We walked out the door and down the main street, turning left at the fifth stop sign.

Once we got onto the abandoned highway, I hopped in the cart. She started running while pushing me and I yelled while enjoying the nice breeze in my face. When we got to the bridge, I jumped out of the cart, and we were both doubled over laughing.

When we got to her house, Eric was there. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "Mom sent me to get you. Come on." He answered. "Bye!" I said to Sarah. "Bye!" She answered.

As I hopped in Eric's truck, I could tell something was up. "What's wrong?" I asked him. "Look, Samantha, whatever happens in that house tonight, know I'll always love and remember you." He said, getting choked up. "Okay. I'll love and remember you too." I answered, and as we pulled up to the driveway, he hugged and kissed me on the forehead. But honestly, I was freaking out. No one ever called me Samantha. EVER.
