"What?! No! You can't make me!" I yelled, no. Screamed at my parents. I couldn't take this right now. Ugh! I can't take this. I stormed out of the house, dreading to ever go back in. I didn't know where I was going, or when I was coming back. I just needed out of there.
Five minutes earlier
"Eric! There you are. And Samantha! Finally you guys are back." Mom said as we walked in. Her and Dad were sitting at the kitchen table. "Sit down." Dad said. "Kids, there is no easy way to say this." Dad said. "We're getting divorced." Mom stated. "Okay..." I said.
"That's not all." Mom said. "Neither of us want to live here anymore-" Dad said. I cut in. "What? No! You can't make me!" I screamed.
I ran in the direction of Sarah's house and ran in the front door. I yelled Sarah's name and she came running down the hall. I led her out the door, down the street, and onto the bridge. I told her all of it. We leaned on each other's shoulders while we both cried. I can't leave. It's not happening.
