In all honesty, I had no idea where I was going. There was nowhere for me to go. I didn't even know if I wanted to go anywhere, though. Maybe I should have just gone home, but of course I couldn't do that. My dad was there, and as much as I would love to screw with his meeting, he would kill me if I intruded.

So for now, I just wandered the streets of London. For only being around seven o'clock, the sky was really dark. Notice how I said the sky, because everything else in town was brightly lit. It actually seemed brighter than usual tonight...

But it could have just been my mood making things lighter. After talking to Harry, I kind of just felt a little... happier. Of course, I could never speak to him again. He wasn't even supposed to know that I existed, and I have no idea what he was doing out in the yard, but he could not do it again. Even if we had met of accident, my dad would be pissed.

Oh no. At that moment, I realized that Harry was going to go back into my house and tell the other guys what had happened. It was too late to stop him now, but at least no real harm had been done.

Not yet, anyway, I thought with a devilish grin. Leaving my thoughts and coming back to the real world, I noticed that I was standing before the library. Really? It was only a Wednesday night, but I had all of London to adventure, and this was where my feet brought me?

Okay, honestly, I loved to spend time at the library. Sometimes reading, sometimes surfing the web, and sometimes just messing with the staff and other kids there. The librarian, Nancy, was like a mother to me. No matter how many spitballs I spat or desks I drew on, I knew she would always tolerate me.

But even though I usually had a good time there, the library wasn't where I wanted to go tonight. Tonight I kind of just felt like exploring, so with a little sigh, I turned away from the doors and started back down the street.

After a little while of walking, a girl who looked to be just a little bit older than me approached. She looked panicked, and without her saying a word, I knew that she was a traveler. I grinned to myself and started toward her as well.

"Excuse me," she said in an American accent, "Um, this is my first time in London, and I kind of have no idea where I am. Do you know where the closest hotel is?"

I smiled and answered, "Yeah, but I don't know about staying in the closest one. It's kind of ghetto. If you want to stay at a real hotel, go to the end of this street and turn right. Take the first left and walk for about 100 yards. There it is!"

"Thank you so much!" she grinned, and then started down the street. I loved helping people with directions. It always made me feel so helpful. Of course, maybe that was because I could never be helpful at my own home.

For a long while, I just walked around. I didn't need a jacket, being that it was the middle of June and really pretty nice weather compared to what it usually was. As I passed the jewelry shop I had been at earlier, I almost laughed out loud. A little bit more walking, and I was at the Starbucks again. I actually stopped here.

There were only a couple people there, so I didn't have to wait long for my Frappuccino. While the workers set to work on it, I pulled out my phone and began scrolling through Twitter. I heard the bell ring as someone entered, but I didn't bother looking up.

"Hey!" a voice said. "Guys, it's that girl I told you about. Hey, Alex!" At my name my head snapped up.

"Harry," I recognized, smiling. I slipped my phone into my back pocket and started towards the boy and his group. Apparently, my father's meeting had finished, because he was with the rest of the band. That meant I could finally go home. At this point, though, I really wasn't even sure that I wanted to...
